Great service! One of the workers “Judy” is so kind - she always makes you feel welcomed to the store, and she appreciates the business. Greensburg needs more people like her!

I received a $50.00 BP Gift Card about a month ago. I used it once leaving a balance of $17.04 on the card. I kept the receipt showing the balance as a reference for my next purchase. Saturday afternoon, I went into the BP on Rt 136 in Greensburg to use the rest of my gift card balance on gas. I said “I want to use my balance of 17.04 on pump 5â€. She told me to swipe my gift card. I did and she said it was only approved for $7.04. I asked her why I was not allowed to use my entire gift card balance. She informed me that BP charges gift cards TWICE to “make sure the money is still thereâ€. I told her that makes zero sense. My mother gives me a BP gift card for almost every holiday, I have been using them for many years and have never had this issue. She told me it was charging me double, $24.00. I told her 17.04 plus 17.04 is $34.08 so that still made no sense. She told me I was only allowed to use $7.00 of my $17.00. I asked her to print out my reciept showing a $10.00 balance. I was charged $7.04 for gas on pump 5. The gift card balance was now showing $7.04 as well. Adding up to a total of 14.08. I asked her where the extra $3.00 went and she told me she did not know and that it should refill on the card within a few business days. I told her none of this was mathmatically or logically adding up. All of this seemed very suspicious and I have never had an issue like this before. It seems as though she was trying to scam people for their gift card money. If the clerk was correct on her information, I would like a logical explanation and some answers to my suspicious experience the other day. Please and thank you
