They worked with me to drop and pick up vehicles after business hours and do not push services that are unnecessary. I would send someone who has no knowledge about vehicles there with confidence they would not be taken advantage of.

“Called to set up an appointment for an alignment after having new tires installed at a different shop. The phone call took 1 minute 26 seconds, I talked to a very nice man named Oliver and I was scheduled for the next day. They checked my alignment and everything was within spec, no adjustments needed so they only charged me half for the service! Everyone was polite and accommodating, it was an all around pleasant experience.

After driving my car home and to work the next day, I realized that it had a pull to the right when I let go of the wheel. This was an existing problem that had been previously dismissed by other shops after they checked the alignment and saw that everything was within spec - chocked it up to the crown of the road. I called Byers the and explained to them that it had the pull to the right despite the numbers looking good on the rack, and that I understood that my car's front camber and caster were non adjustable - but I was just wondering if there was any adjustment or something else they could think of that might be causing this pull. A special thanks to Ryan who listened to my concerns and told me to swing back by the shop after work so they could drive the car and take a look at it - he said he's not sure if there's much they can do since the camber and caster were non adjustable, but he'd like me to come by so they could at least check it out.

Ryan took my car for a drive and confirmed that the pull was definitely present and it was more aggressive than what the crown of the road would cause. They decided to try swapping the two front wheels to see if that would make any difference, Ryan drove the car again and returned to tell me that the pull seemed to be a little better, not perfect but it wasn't pulling as much as before. I was already very appreciative that they gave me the time of day and wanted to look into my issue, but to hear that the pull had improved was even better. When I asked what I owed them Ryan said not to worry about it and sent me on my way. The best part? While driving my car home I realized Ryan had been a bit conservative with his report. The pull is gone entirely, the car tracks as straight as you could ask for a vehicle with 100k miles! I am so grateful that they were willing to take a little bit deeper dive into the issue, and that they at least made an attempt to mitigate the pull. Better yet? Their attempt worked and my car tracks as it should. Couldn't ask for a better experience with a shop. 5/5, would recommend them to anyone!”

They promptly got all of the parts needed to fix my car. “I needed four new tires, plus a new spare. When I called, they talked me through my options, helped me pick the right tires for what I needed.

At the appointment, they realized my spare had a lock, I didn't have the key, and they couldn't get it out to change it. But they held onto my fifth tire till I could get the spare out a few days later.

No promises were made as we did not have an appt. Swope’s was able to have our car fixed up by 4pm that same day! I will definitely continue to use them for routine maintenance. “Bought tires at different shop. First mistake. Went back three times complaining that the tires they sold me shook horribly at any speed above 40mph. They said it was my truck. Replaced all steering parts and problems continued. Second shop insisted the tires were defective, but Rivera tire assured me it wasn't the tires. Eventually stopped driving the truck for almost a year. Took it to Matt. I should have started there, honestly. He was able to get them balanced to the point my truck was drivable, but still shook. He warned me that he'd never put that much weight on one tire and highly recommended I return them as he didn't think they were safe. The original shop refused to refund me. Finally got all new tires today at McCarthy tire and found out the wrong tires were installed from the beginning. My truck calls for 10 ply and they were standard ply. There are tons of places to get tires, but this is the only one I've found in my area that sells products they trust to customers they care about. I own several cars and I'm not taking them anywhere but here. Seriously thank you Matt C.”
