My wife and I visit here almost every-time we are in town for dinner. The ice cream is so good and well priced. The food is also decent. The staff is quick and always have lots of people working. I've never been here and it's been slow, there's always people filling the parking lot.

Fair food, fair prices, great service. Nice place to stop in for a sandwich, sub, or ice cream. Nice family place.

They hype is NOT deserved at all, honestly this place is a mess, the wait is long, the food is bad, the management doesn't care, the kids who work here don't give a s**** Bathrooms are horrendous. I guess the nostalgia wins some folks over, but we had to throw away half the food, it was just BAD and the management said we could've ordered something else, but its our fault if we didn't Luke bas undercooked food. AVOID

Great ice cream place! My family goes here quite often and really enjoys it. There's mostly always a long line and slow employees, but if you don't mind a long wait you'll likely get good ice cream.

I agree with most of the reviews preceeding this. I discovered this business last weekend while searching for Hershey chocolate ice cream. Upon driving 40 minutes I found the line out the door about 7 pm. It was great seeing the local support for this long-term establishment and about 12 workers super busy. Being from NY City I wasn't aware of terms like hand dipped, so I ordered a chocolate Sunday. When it came I was very disappointed to find it was soft serve, not scoops of hard ice cream. I can get that junk anywhere, DQ, etc. I learned they don't carry chocolate ice cream, just chocolate soft serve? Does Milton Hershey know about this is going on in the shadows of his great company built on chocolate?I ordered a lemon and cherry Italian ice (a staple in NYC) and again was very disappointed finding out they don't have lemon flavor Italian ice. So I had to settle for a cherry and lemon lime flavor that didn't taste much like either lemon or lime, but the cherry was good.I brought my other half here tonight and we like the place but I'm still unhappy with the omission of chocolate and lemon flavors, yet they have more exotic flavors like coffee crunch, moosetrack mint (I figured out a moosetrack is like a skid mark in a humans underwear, a streak of chocolate), and other "different" flavors. The smell of fried food is ever present. Free refills on ice tea but a small charge (27 cents) for soft drinks (I think reasonable).I enjoy the atmosphere and will return. I may foray into a fried food one day too.My other half was happy seeing photos of the Archbishop of Baltimore and St. John Paul the Great (The former Pope John Paul II).

The most absolute bustable place. Love about 5 miles from this joint and find myself here about once a week. Whether it's for the creamery, or the delectable food, it's a yes for me anytime of the day. Always find myself putting this out there for a request for dinner. Very easy, very affordable, and overall a fun outing anytime of the day. Lots of good memories from playing in the arcade with the friends, or the team all piling in after a quick innocent baseball game at clarey field. Every greencastle native I know is a huge fan of this place, and I forever will be as well. Keep up the good work mike!

This place Always has great food and dessert and customer service. It is a pleasure to go out and they make you feel welcomed. Becky and Olivia TeddieJo were awesome. Cozy n friendly! My wife enjoyed her grilled chicken sandwich w/lettuce tomatoes mayo pickles (of course) potato wedges n their sweet ice tea is bomb! Yum! I had beef brisket sandwich n wedges, after we simply had to end w/desert! Wifey had small banana split, me small brownie sundae. Now, after our ride we shall take a siesta. Come on down. You won't regret it!!

I love this place. I took my boys here to try their ice cream and we absolutely loved the ice cream and the wonderful family atmosphere. The arcade is so cute I feel like I'm stepping back in time. Great service too.

We were staying near Greencastle last week and happened to stop by Mikie's for some evening ice cream. Holy moly. I think this could possibly be the best soft serve ice cream I've ever had in my life. And the prices are fantastic.

Mikies used to be very good. But unfortunately it has really gone down hill. The food is just basic. The service is very slow and disorganized. I really think the place could use an upgrade and restructured so that the flow of ordering and picking up food is much smoother. And get rid of the shop. I never see anyone in there anyway. On a positive note; the homemade waffle cones are great and love all the selections of ice cream.

Used to be our favorite place locally but since COVID no enforcement of masks... new lady in lobby is bustling to keep trash empty and tables clean so that is awesome but to stand in line with at least 50% of customers around you not wearing a mask will bring our visits to a halt for awhile :(
