I went to Greencastle Chevrolet to have a recall taken care of. While I was there I thought, why not look at the new cars. Zach came out and asked if he could help me. I told him if I bought I wanted to trade 2 vehicles. He said that's no problem. I picked a vehicle and he said we can test drive it to your home and I'll drive the other trade in back. He even offered to drive it back home if I decided against the trade. I can only say very nice things about everyone I worked with that day. Free PA inspections are a great plus!

I regret purchasing a vehicle here. I should have walked out when it took them near 5 hours to print the paperwork but I was patient. To then find out they forgot to have me sign everything a month later and needed to email it to me so they could finance the deal. I ALSO FOUND DAMAGE TO THE VEHICLE THAT THEY CLEVERLY HID AND DID NOT DISCLOSE. Now the issue is they sent the title, registration to my old state which I told them I just moved and was in process of updating my id and they explained it would be no issue and I could just call the state dmv and ask to transfer it as they are processing. They clearly waited over a month to even send it off because of their paperwork delay. Well then they didn’t send it to the state office like normal and instead sent it to a local office which the state says the only course of action is to go in person which is 6 hours away. The local office doesn’t answer the phone so clearly a different course is needed. I call every day to see if Ashley can do anything to fix this and I’m told she will call back, no calls. Chloe has been helpful but her hands seem tied. My temp tag is expired, I’m paying for a vehicle that I can’t get registered, and I might have to drive down to see if I can get it done in my previous state and then transfer it after. The dealership has been zero help and hasn’t tried anything to fix their mistakes. Do not buy from these people. I will be reaching out to state admins now as well.

I never been there, but I know someone who works here, and let’s just say she will sell you the car you want, and need. She never sold me a car, but I would love to get a car from this place in the future.

Update:tires replaced. Inspection done. But yet, never offered an extended tag for this mess. Still unable to drive my new car. We are going into September and I still don't have my tags. I've been in contact with the boy who I bought my car from and he's not responded to my last 2 reach outs. I will never do business here again.
I waited and waited for my Maryland tags. To find out I needed a Maryland state inspection. I had to call the MVA to find this out. Due to the dealership not responding to me. By this time my tag had expired. I did my inspection to fail due to bad tires. Mind you my car is only a '21 and had low mileage. I shouldn't have failed. I've tried contacting the dealership with no response.
My dealer was a young man who was nice but the finance guy was a jerk, Curtis, I believe was his name. He was rude and made me feel uncomfortable.
I do not recommend this place. Poor management and communication. Just because I'm a woman, doesn't mean I don't know my cars. As for the inspection, it was my first time buying out of state, so I didn't realize I needed to do it. I haven't bought many cars. This is definitely information needed for newer car buyers.

This dealership has a bunch of additional fees and markups that were hidden. I asked for the out the door price and after I got to the dealership the price was not what was advertised.

I am writing this review to let anyone that is considering having Greencastle Chevy repair their vehicle know how fantastic our service was when our truck was having issues. We had been calling the other Chevy dealer in Waynesboro PA, where we bought it, at least twice a week for the past month and never received a call back to schedule service. We gave up and called Greencastle Chevrolet and they got us in right away and had it diagnosed within 24 hrs. It was a serious issue and could have gotten really bad had we not gotten it in soon.
They handled dealing with the extended warranty we have and made the whole process seamless. They worked hard to get it ready by the weekend knowing I had a craft show and needed the truck by then. Laurence is a huge asset to their service dept. and we couldn't be more pleased with how we were treated. He was on it and made sure we got it back on time. THAT is what customer service is supposed to be like! We will never step foot in the "other" dealer that we bought it from and will now use Greencastle for any issues we have with our truck. Thanks again Greencastle Chevrolet!

I had an exceptional experience with Michael Scholl! He went out of his way to make sure I felt comfortable with the test drive, and he made sure I was aware of all the important aspects and qualities in the Trailblazer that I purchased. Overall, I had a great experience with Greencastle Chevrolet. Mike was extremely helpful and went above and beyond! I will definitely go back to Greencastle Chevrolet for my next vehicle, and I would recommend Mike to anyone looking to buy a car!
