Comet is a real treasure trove of science fiction and fantasy books and magazines, plus some vintage sci fi toys. Prices are reasonable, owner and dog are charming. If you're anywhere near Scranton, and have any interest in sci fi, you need to check this place out.

An entire treasure trove packed into a little book store, with the sweetest dog asking for pets as you browse the amazing collection of books. Sandy is a wonderful host and can tell you about almost every single thing you pick up as you journey around the rooms. On nice days, there are antiques posted up outside for those looking to add to their collections or just see the quality of good old things. Awesome little spot!

Fascinating little store. Piles, shelves, and stacks of pulps, books, toys, and games. Take some time to dig through, chat with the owner, and pet the friendly lab! My partner found a book from an author he loves that he didn't even know existed.
