The room was clean. Check in was a hassle without a person there, I had to call the number a couple times. The bad thing was the ac/heater. It clicked on every few minutes throughout the night. It was so loud I was unable to sleep all night. The unit should be updated.

The Harvest Drive Family Inn is in a great location. Very close to intercourse without being on a main road. The room was very clean and the beds were comfortable. The front desk staff was kind and helpful. The walls between rooms are very thin, we could hear everything going on in the room next to us. We had trouble getting the heater to work, so the room was a little chilly. Overall we had a good stay and would stay again, just need to bring some earplugs next time.

We go every year only bad thing is they have a horrible insect issue with inch worm kinda bugs that come out at night and craw all over the sidewalks and under the room doors and make their way into the rooms. Don't know what or why but be great if they can control that. Other than that the location is so quiet and peaceful.

We stayed here from October 6-8th 2023 this Inn is so clean and quiet we had a room with 3 beds which is great for us because we all like our own beds to sleep in while on vacation the beds were very comfortable and I can’t wait to stay here again. We came out and did field of screams on Friday and drove an hour to Gettysburg ghost tours on Saturday

I do NOT recommend this place!I booked at midnight with Orbits. The booking said my room is ready immediately and check out is later in the day BUT I get an email from the hotel stating the check-in is later today.I called the phone number on the email, couldn't reach anyone, so I left a message and shortly got a call back. I was told they will not have a room until later in the day. Next I was told they have a room but the price is higher. I said, no thanks, I will sleep in a friend's office before I do that. When I declined the price, I was immediately offered a lower price. I was not impressed that they lowered it after they thought they were losing my business.I told him, No, I will sleep in a friend's office. This afternoon I returned at 4:23 to check in. Found the office locked with sign on the door to call the same number I had called at midnight. I called three times before I received a call back. I was exhausted, needing to prepare for a meeting in an hour, this was very disheartening. My room was already booked and paid for online BUT I had to give all my personal information again, like I was making a new booking. I nearly canceled while on the phone with him.I told them I will complain to management as this is taking precious time when I need to be working. The person on the other end spoke a very broken English and he also had difficulty understanding my southern accent. The bed seemed clean but it has a standard sized bed sitting in front of a King size frame. After multiple attempts to connect my laptop to WiFi I realized there simply is no internet service. I am not able to do the work needed for business tomorrow. The location is a peaceful setting in a country, the front of the hotel looks nice but I was sent to a room in the back with barely enough space to park my pickup truck, and the worst view of the property. It appears they are keeping the front unused and putting their few customers in the back.I definitely will never return unless1, they update the room furniture,2, have a reliable WiFi service,3, and also have a check in service that doesn't make you sit in the hot parking lot waiting on a call from someone to check you in, who then takes about 10 minutes to do just that. What a waste of time!

Well we just checked in and the room is suitable. However we got a room in the back where there is absolutely no internet service. They advertise internet so I feel duped! When I asked the lady at the front desk to rectify the situation by moving us to where the internet was working she replied they were fully booked for a queen bed room. Ok well how about a different style room or a discount? It wasn’t even suggested. What was suggested was I go across the field outside to use internet. I know this is a small thing but unhappy so far because of this.

Find someplace else to stay! For what we paid for the room for one night, it was not worth it. The room was extremely small. Very dark and dreary. The room only had 2 lights and the bulbs were low wattage. I read somewhere the rooms where updated. Must have been about 20 years ago. The sink basin was so small that I had to leave my toiletry bag on a chair outside the bathroom. The tub was stained and the drain was rusted. The bed was absolutely horrendous. Any movement you made while in bed made lots of noise. The mattress was lumpy and the air conditioner was extremely noisy. This place is located pretty much off the beaten path. Really in the middle of nowhere.

I’ve stayed at nice places: The W in Boston, a suite at The Ocean in Ac, The Penthouse at the MGM Grand in Vegas, just to name a few. I also worked at Cordillera (5-Star) and The St. Julien Hotel - Boulder (Preferred Hotel Group). This place is not luxury, I wasn’t looking for luxury and certainly did not pay for luxury. It was a place to sleep and shower as the rest of my family was camping so I spent the majority of my time with them. The property is lovely. It is off the beaten path but it is gorgeous, secluded and I did not feel unsafe staying there my first night alone. There was no housekeeping in between my two night stay. They said it was due to Covid but staffing shortages are still everywhere. If you don’t make a mess you don’t need someone else to clean up your mess for you. Very simple. There is a gazebo out the back with panoramic views and there is a swing-set and play area for children, along with an open field of grass for pets, yoga, pictures, whatever you choose. I did not have to leave the property to take these photos, I actually walked around in my bedroom slippers while taking these. Point of my story; you do not need to stay in these expensive, name brand hotels. My mom recently had rats/mice in a $300/night NYC stay. Give these off brand people a chance, they deserve it. Room #53 ?

Modern transaction, book online check out by phone. Rooms have modern designs. I like the beds. I appreciate the decor, all room amenities work. Bathroom is clean, a little small . I had 2 queen size bed in the room . It sleeps 4 adults . I'm glad extra comforters were provided. My family liked it so much we might start using it for annual sight and sound trip. Polite and effective staff. Definitely worth a try!!

The place was clean, the people were nice, but the rooms were small and packed with too much furniture. The bottom sheet would not stay on the bed. Vanities are outside the bathroom. It's pretty far out in the country.

Very disappointed after seeing the pictures of this place online. What they don’t show you is the back side of the motel which is where our room was. Had a view of a smashed up truck and a storage garage. No chairs to sit on outside like the photos show. Our room needed a good cleaning. Spider in the bathtub. Paint chipping off the bathroom door all over the bathroom floor. Sounds like birds are living in the AC unit (we were afraid to turn it on) Bed and mattress our very old, loud, and creeky. Overall a very disappointing stay. Definitely a lot nicer places near by.

We stayed at the Harvest Drive Family Inn on a holiday weekend when prices were high elsewhere, so the low cost suited us on this trip to Lancaster. It was a little more than what you would expect from the average roadside motel. The room had some updates (new flooring, flat screen TV, down comforter) and was very clean. So clean, however, that the smell of cleaning product was quite overwhelming on our first night, but dissipated by the second day. Some things to note if you are planning to stay: there is a nicer side of the building where you can see the farmlands from your window. The back side (where we stayed) was just a view of the parking spaces and a business next door. There is no staff present on-site. You call ahead for check in directions and someone leaves you towels in the morning on your doorknob. No service to the room. We were familiar with the area, so it was fine, but if you are looking for any information or the added security of a property manager, this isn’t the place for you. I agreed with other reviewers that there appear to be some people living at the motel but it wasn’t problematic for us. The room was an ok size for two, but the bathroom was rather small. Not much counter space to put a toiletry kit, so I kept it outside the bathroom and brought items in and out as needed. The hand soap was terrible, so definitely bring your own. Towels were ok, nothing special, but clean. We would stay here again if looking for an inexpensive lodging in the Lancaster area, especially since we know what to expect. Location is excellent for exploring all that Dutch Country has to offer.
