1105 N Bethlehem Pike Unit C, Lower Gwynedd“I was given an old Trek bicycle from a friend and they were so fabulous and restored and fixed everything so it is just like new...and at a very fair price! I have only had Trek bikes for the last 30 years! Great store and even better team! Thank you!”
“Changed my review based on experience Summer 2023. The staff changed & now they trump up needed services /fees-- for simple stuff and refuse to fix unless you get a full tune up. (old review from 3 years ago. Nice staff and they had a tire that fit my bike in the middle of the covid lock down.)”
“My rear brake was rubbing so I brought the bike to get it looked at. Turns out the brake had cracked. Thankfully, they had a replacement part already in stock, and repaired my bike the same day so I could make it to my group ride. Amazing service.”
“Called from Wisconsin about an Arkel handlebar bag they had on their website. Person I spoke with hunted it down in storage and said it was a little dusty from sitting but otherwise in excellent condition. He unilaterally dropped the price significantly and agreed to ship it to me. Exactly as described, super nice guy, great deal. Thanks. Hitting the road in April - it will be much appreciated on tour.”
“I just picked up riding recently. Went to a few different bike shops but the Trek store in Manyunk has been the best. Tom took care of my first maintenance experience and was tremendous. This is my go to store now because of the way the staff has repeatedly been so helpful. I've been here a few times and always look forward to going now.”
“The service was excellent. I had my brakes upgraded from a mechanical disk brake setup to a hybrid disk/hydraulic setup, on an entry-level Cannondale gravel bicycle. I commute to work in the rough streets of Philadelphia, a total of 12 miles, 4-5 days per week. I am very happy with the results of the upgrade and I appreciate the chance to geek out on bicycles.”
“Stopped in to check out some Marin gravel bike options. The owner was great, directed me to some local trails and we talked bikes for a good 15 minutes! Support your local bike shop!”
“Purchased March 2020 - 2020 Santa Cruz Tallboy – Lg Rocksteady Yellow Co Purchased as COVID was not quite in full force in March 2020, Brady delivered the bike to me at home, wearing a mask. The price was fair, the buying experience was great. Additionally, every year they provide a tune-up, creating minimal costs so far (tire sealant, etc.). Service is scheduled on-line, they communicate via text message and all managers/owners, sales people and techs at both locations have been great to deal with related to this purchase. The bike itself is more than I know how to use, but it has been perfect for the rocks/roots/short ups/downs very common around Philly (commonly ride Wiss, Belmont, Smedley, Brandywine) and generally without issue for 4 years.o Don’t be intimidated by the high-end bikes they sell. I purchased 2 kids bikes connected to Little Bella’s (an amazing charity that teaches girls mtb skills and broader life lessons across the US). The charity is supported by the shop, and in general they are a positive for the local community. Brady/Dave and everyone there will meet you at your budget/interest, help you through the process and are interested in being a resource for the long hall.”

1315 N Howard St, Philadelphia“I purchased my cargo bike from here a few years ago and the service was amazing then. My most recent experience with Firth and Wilson left me wanting to leave a review. This week I took my cargo bike in here to get the rear tire fixed. Not only was the price very reasonable the service was amazing. They fixed my tire, tightened my loose headlight and fixed my frayed brake wire. My bike came out feeling brand new and I only took it in to have a tire fixed. I will only use this place to purchase and repair my bikes from this point on knowing they are in excellent hands.”
“Knowledgeable sales, service and electric bike trends - a rarity in this burgeoning industry. No hard sell, no upsell, just information to assist in your decision making.”

“Been going to Bustleton for years now. I’ve purchased 2 bikes and have had several repairs and maintenance done. Every experience has been a positive one and I have nothing but gratitude and thanks to give. They have helped me quite a bit along my journey to becoming a serious cyclist and I’m truly grateful. My latest purchase is a sweet Marlin 7 with a few customizations and I am more than pleased with not just the purchase, but the whole process. The owner, Mike, has really helped me with getting the right bike for my needs, and as a result, this new purchase has significantly improved my performance on the trails. If you’re looking for a down to earth bike shop who has your back, I highly recommend you check out these guys. 10/10”
“Velojawn is great and was closer, but they hadn’t opened yet. Mike was just opening up at Dr. Cycles and changed my tube in less than 5 minutes for $15. I asked if he could sell me an extra tube, but he said he didn’t have spares. Really, I couldn’t ask for better. I’ve been charged nearly 3x this in other shops.”
“great place to buy a bicycle! Was a little kid 45 years ago and my daddy, Ron Watt of the Bike Works motorcycle shop (Ron Watt passed away last February and the Bike Works at 25 Easton Rd. has been closed for some time now) bought me a Schwinn BMX bike. Great memories and passed the bicycle shop to and from the Bike Works every day for decades. Suzanne, Ron's wife, also passed away over a year ago.”
