They goes above and beyond for their patients and everyone on the team is so nice, compassionate and really want what’s best for all animals. I respect what Dr. Lohr and Dr. Gephart do for their patients so much that I have started taking my personal cat to them. Pictured is Honcho who is labeled medically reactive. Everyone was great with him and he loved all of the attention.

Acrospire Brewing Company
1702 Mt Royal Blvd, GlenshawMore than a brewery its a community. Acrospire is part of the fabric of the community.
They have a great rotating selection of beers. You cant tell how good a brewery is when they can make great beers in more than one type and without needed to over hop everything. We had tried styles as light a Mexican style beer to Stoudt's and everything was great. They also do more experimental beers from time to time which is always great to see.
Its a family friendly community environment. The owners seems to always be there and accommodating. They are constantly hosting events that are fun and unique. Most recently we did the Jigs and Swigs Irish Dancing which was unique and a lot of fun. They also often have great live music.
They bathrooms are clean and large enough that even when its packed there is not a line.
They have a great outdoor space with live plants, which makes it feel more secluded.
They often update their social media so you can see what fun events they have.
They have great food trucks and when they do not have a food truck Franks Pizza is just a short walk away for great food.
If you are looking to have some great beers with family and friends in a relaxed atmosphere. Come and raise a pint!

Hartwood Restaurant & Whispers Pub
3400 Harts Run Rd, GlenshawThis historic restaurant has a nicely appointed with lots of small areas for more private dining. The food is good and the service team is very friendly. The lamb burger was a bit messy but tasted great. The cole slaw is a drier version but has good flavor. This is a regular stop for a number of people where I work because it's more quiet and not a chain restaurant.

3405 Harts Run Rd, GlenshawI'm very disappointed with my check. Last Sunday I took my wife, my son and his sweetheart for lunch to Il Pizzaiolo, right here in the Fox Chapel Area. My wife is the real fan of this place. She told me one of her friend told her about a surcharge for using Credit Cards. When I ordered the check, as a fact, there was a $6.90 surcharge for our meal. For those of you not knowing it, one of the operative cost, included when calculating the sale price for a plate in any, ANY RESTAURANT, in the USA is a percentage for using credit cars. So, from the very beginning the restaurant has already compensated for the customer using credit card, so why the double dipping into my pocket for using a credit card??? You are about to loose a whole family as one of your customers because of this. This is a rip off. Your food is great, your staff excel in service, but this, even a $6.90 surcharge, it's not acceptable and legal. Even with this, I left a tip of $50.00, because this was not the server fault.
