A great local community park! Highly underused in the neighborhood but we love it! We absolutely love the new redesigned path and walkway I highly recommend to everyone in the neighborhood!

Beautiful place to take the dog along the woodsy trail. I also like coming here to sit and listen to the water. Usually not very populated but a few times I've had minor issues with dog interactions. There is an off leash area so having a curious and friendly dog run up on you is not uncommon. Knowing my dog's incessant need to chase and attempt to capture any bubbles floating on the surface of the stream no, we usually employ the leash at all times. I've seen a handful of dog owner's who take their dogs there for training sessions, maybe to socialize them? Maybe to hunt? The only weird thing that happened was in the early evening, before dusk, when a guy showed up with his dogs and kept them way back down the path from us. I suppose this could have been done so as not to upset the training session with canine excitement but it just felt like they were waiting for us to leave. Felt uncomfortable so we left early. Still a favorite spot of ours. Very beautiful scenery along the creek!

Tucked away, but easy to find, this field is the Shaler home field for Saturday U8 soccer games.
