I know, they have trouble finding employees, but...today I returned something I picked up incorrectly, an Armor All Disinfectant instead of the shine. I purchased it on 2/22. But I had a receipt. It was quite a chore to accomplish my task of exchanging the Disinfect for the Shine. 3 People working in store, not busy, about 230. When I entered the store the manager was trying to talk to an employee who was doing some adjusting of product in front. She claimed she could not hear him. Sadly, I repeated "he said what do you think of flower sorting work this evening" She rudely said " no, he said he wants me to stock the flowers". She was dismissive and rude. When I explained why I was there, she proceeded to tell me about someone lying and bringing back a large container of glue. She said "we have to check, people are lying."..she had my receipt in her hand. This was not brain surgery. I was surprised to be treated so poorly. She kept repeating that the bottle of disinfect I was returning was very warm, which I thought was strange, I didn't understand her point. I told her I had it in my car, ( it was in the 80's today). I have often shopped in this store for nothing in particular. I have never experienced this level of disrespect and condescension in this store before. I am planning to not shop there again. If I want to browse a Dollar Tree, there is one on McKnight Rd.

Rude old lady checked me out and got on my case about sitting a basket down before putting it back after checkout. I guess she assumed I wasn’t going to? She didn’t give me a chance. This woman was scowling at me the minute I walked in. Very strange, I’m not going to dollar general for the customer service experience but why the hostility?

The manager who is a man, wears glasses is the worst manager I've ever met anywhere in my life. I had my 4 children with me in the store, we were going to buy a whole cart worth of items. My daughters & son needed to use the restroom. When my daughters we're done, I put toilet paper around the edges for my son (because there was no toilet seat covers) When we walked out, the door locked behind us. I had left my wallet on the shelf above the toilet, when we were walking away, (bc their father just walked in, and I was thinking Thank God now I have help) I stated oh crap I left my wallet in there. The manager who was following us around anyway, heard me say this & said he would open it, I said thank you so much. When we got to the toilet he walked right in, in front of me& wouldn't let me grab my wallet. He then started screaming about making a mess, telling me I needed to clean it up. I said sir I'm sorry about that, yes I will I was trying to get back in & the door locked, while I was trying to explain, he was saying no I don't want to hear it, just get it up, you don't make messes etc. So I immediately got up the "mess" and grabbed my wallet , I was VERY UPSET at this and said, I don't have to spend money here I can just leave- he started SCREAMING AT ME. Telling me to get out theN & never come back- I of course returned the favor and said I will I will gladly leave & never come back- he was so mad he said he would call the cops!! I said for what?! I did nothing illegal?! What are you going to tell them I did? Got smart with the manager?! Stood up for myself!?! what did I do?!!! He CHASED me out the store yelling at me, embarrassing me in front of all the other customers & my children!!! He really did call the cops!! He told them my license plate number & I said what are you going to tell them I did?! I did NOTHING wrong!! I packed my children in the car & we left. That man was ALREADY following us around the store & on the phone talking crap about my kids being bad- I KEPT getting on them telling them to calm down, what more could I do?! I was alien w toddlers & an 8 year old. I TRIED. I TRIED to apologize! I TRIED to explain & he wouldn't hear ANY OF IT! HE WANTED to flip out on me from the moment we were in the store! I have NEVER had someone treat me like that ANYWHERE IVE EVER BEEN!! I'm southern & im all about MANNERS! I told my kids I had to get up the toilet seat cover & not leave a mess WHILE WE WERE IN THE RESTROOM- BC I CLEAN FOR A LIVING! I'm a janitor! I truly DID NOT mean to "make a mess" & let me be clear it as only toilet paper covering the rim!! & I DID GET IT up!! Idk if the cops will come to my house or not- bc if they do it'll be a waste of resources bc I did NOTHING WRONG! I'm so upset & I've been crying non stop I just. Any believe this happened to me. I was so stressed out, following my children around, getting on to them the whole time, taking them to the restroom, then to be screamed at by this man he wouldn't even give me a moment to explain. I'm just so thrown by this whole situation! I DEFINITELY believe he wanted to go off the whole time he was just looking for an excuse!! MOTHERS WITH MULTIPLE KIDS DONT GO IN THIS STORE! THEY DONT FEEL FOR YOU THEY WILL SCREAM AT YOU WHEN ITS ALREADY HARD ENOUGH AS IT IS!!

Love dollar tree for kitchen gadgets, utensils and tin foil. Can’t beat it for a dollar. They do run out of things though

Dollar Tree sells hygiene products, cleaning products, office supplies, foods, beverages, dinnerware, home decor, toys, pet supplies, holiday decorations, and many others. Products never cost more than $1.25. I stopped in this store to buy mostly hygiene products and snacks as well as some other things. The store could be a little cleaner and tidier. The cashier made friendly conversation.

Dollar Tree is a discount store that has thousands of locations across the United States and Canada. All products cost $1.25 or less. Products include cleaning supplies, health and hygiene products, housewares, office supplies, foods and beverages, holiday decorations, crafts, toys, etcetera. This Dollar Tree in Glenshaw is very similar to other locations that I have visited. This store has a similar layout as well as similar products that are great bargains. I went on a "shopping spree," stocking up on bodywashes, shampoos, conditioners, hand soaps, cotton swabs, toothpastes, toothbrushes, batteries, several snacks, and a yard decoration--21 products for only $27 total! Many of these products are name brands such as Dial and Crest. I deducted one star from my review because the floors were slightly dirty, the shelves were slightly disorganized, and the cashier for some reason handed me receipts for nine other customers!

I really used to like this particular location of DT but I have noticed that ever since the pandemic, I find staff to be dismissive and unfriendly. I am very unsatisfied with how management chose to deal with unruly youth of the community! There definitely had to be a more productive way to address the oppositional defiant behavior of these children. Just immediately calling the police on middle school adolescents is kind of harsh and unnecessary. Especially, if there was no theft, vandalism, violence or destruction. This is a learning experience to all involved but I will certainly not be a returning customer. Especially, if the youth of shaler and surrounding communities are unwelcomed because they are viewed by store management as troubled, delinquent, hoodlum children that require incarceration instead of rehabilitation for the offenses of being disrespectful and annoying. If you plant that seed, that is what this community will receive from our youth. If you show kindness, patience and work together with parents... The children learn that it takes a village to lead them to productive members of the community.

I was there around 3 p.m. apparently a nearby school lets out at that time. The kids weren't bad but there was quite a few of them. I'd advise avoiding that time. It's a nice, clean store though. I'll be back

The restroom is nasty. The employees talk loud and often about their personal life. It is always too warm in the store.

The Dollar tree is a great place to stop in and get some odds and ends. Today with rising prices everything in the store more or less is still a dollar. The staff have always been very friendly as well. There's never a long way either.THEY HAVE ICE which was convenient as I was getting ready for a trip.I like getting these canned Tuna & Crackers and Smoked Oysters to take in my lunch.I also always get my paintbrushes there which are only a dollar and I have to say they're pretty good quality.

I was at the dollar tree 2days ago and there was this dad with his kids there and the manager Tom was yelling at one of his kids because he wasn't wearing a shirt. the kid couldn't be more than 5 years old the poor dad was telling tom to calm down and trying to explain to the manager that they've just come from Crawford pool and that's why the boy didn't have a shirt on and he just needed 2 things but the manger just kept getting louder with them and made the poor family leave. I was so sad for the kids because we all know that a dollar tree for kids is like Christmas. I just feel the manger could of handled the situation a lot better and should know not to yell at other people's children. Honestly it just could of been handled better.

I can't stand this dollar tree. I can't go in there without the manger Tom, harassing my kid. I've been going to this dollar tree for 8 years and the least I spend is $25. my kid is 4 years old yelling at him for no apparent reason in front of me Tom is so rude has no customer service respect.
