I lived there a one Year! The worst of my time since I'm in Pensilvania! The office and maintenance are great… what should they be when they are renting apartments in worse areas in Glenolden where drug lords and killer live! Siren in this town are unbearable … all night and day ! Neighbor were loud, dirty, drugged or drunk… they going to sit in front of your apartment with light on and loud music! They are going to drop trash from their balcony and leave their small kids on balcony screaming Help(it was prank) Horrible! Unfortunately the apartment was great! I said unfortunately in those suraunding…

Full disclosure, I've only lived here a few days. The review is only four stars because of that. Assuming things continue the way they are during my time here, this will change to 5 stars. I moved from out of state and had to handle everything online, without getting to view anything prior to moving in. The leasing office was exceptionally helpful in getting me set up and answering any questions I had. Move in day went smoothly and I LOVE the apartment. It is spacious, clean, and everything works. The parking to date has been excellent as well, and there is even a cute creek behind the building. The little bit of the surrounding area I have been able to explore is lovely. The apartment complex is mostly clean and quiet. One of my biggest fears was that people would be loud and making noise at all times of night, but, it has been quiet. I'm over the moon with the apartment. Maintenance staff seems friendly and knowledgeable. There's a small gym and laundry facilities in the building. I could not be happier. Thank you to everyone at Glen Manor who has helped me get moved in!Update: At the six month mark, my experience has been mostly very positive. I've had some minor maintenance issues relating to outlets not working, but, that, in my experience, is a common issue. Maintenance worked quickly to help me resolve the issues as well as possible. Last night I returned home from a few weeks out of town and the a/c was not working (blowing, but not cold air). This morning maintenance came by and refilled the coolant to ensure the A/C was blowing cool AND is having someone else come out to look at it this evening to make sure there are no further issues. I'll try to update either way, but I've been very happy at Glen Manor and very appreciative of both maintenance and the leasing office. Thank you!Update2: at the one year mark, November 2021, or so, had an issue with the shower, where water was weirdly leaking out of the back of the shower into the apartment...plumbing here is interesting (not gross, just interesting :).) I filed an online form for maintenance and in a day or so someone from the apartment came by, and similar to the a/c experience, had called a contractor to look at the plumbing by the end end of the day. It was resolved temporarily that day, and followed up on for a long term fix a week later, or so, once the parts came in. Also, i don't feel like reading my already long review, so i don't know if I mentioned it, but, the rent increase for renewal was exceptionally moderate, in my opinion, which I was thrilled about. I very much enjoy living here.Update3: still all good about 1.5 years in! Had an issue with the outlets in the kitchen, and thus an issue with powering the fridge...maintenance was by within the hour (or so) to check on it, and it was resolved to my satisfaction quickly (thank you.) Also, i've yet to meet an unfriendly neighbor...not social, perhaps (most are social, in my experience), but none that are unfriendly, that i've encountered .Also, if you live in the area, I highly recommend "The Morton House"...it's about a 20-30 minute walk from the apartment complex...i believe it opens up to John Heinz Wildlife Preserve, but whatever it is, it is beautiful, has a public access fishing dock, and the historical Morton House...highly recommended! You'll see me and my dog walking around a good bit. The surrounding area is BEAUTIFUL, imo, and me and the dog love Glenolden Park (though she is not technically permitted, i haven't had an issue) and walking the creek.

This place had mice coming through the floor, weed smoke through the halls, the gym is never open and Debbie is extremely untrustworthy. Do not expect ur security deposit because 90% of people don’t get it back. The washing machine is always broken , they charge you for water when it’s supposed to be free . The dumpster is the worst trash is never put in it on surrounding it. I would not recommend my worst enemy to live here.

Have lived here for half a year they have enter my apartment un announced on 4 occasions, I put in a order 2 months ago because my fridge stopped working after 3 days I got it fixed myself and paid for it they still haven’t contacted me about the fridge. The ladies in the office are so unprofessional and rude , they never answer the phone they wait for you to leave a voicemail and if it seems important to them they will call back. Wouldn’t recommend !

Move in process was simple , Deb the onsite property manager is quick to respond and have developed a nice relationship, I asked for an upgrade a 10 months ago and with covid-19 some of the time frames got missed but the Staff here quickly kept me updated along the way , The maintenance Man Rodney is quick to come over and fix Any issues , Parking here is not that great the Lines are 2 close to one another, and hallways are a little dated but they are improving where they can and had some complaints that were handled and I adjusted my review accordingly from 2 Stars to 4 Stars, if you work in the city its a quick hop on the regional rail and you are downtown in minutes

I have very close relatives that live in building 101 and I decided to assist with writing the review for their living experience at Glen Manor. According to my relatives..."Glen Manor has been a great place to reside! The response for repairs are very timely. The property manager has been very accommodating to my disabilities. The parking is great. The office and maintenance staff are very pleasant to deal with at all times. The environment is clean there is no trash all over the parking lot and the dumpster is very accessible with regard to there always being room for me to place my trash. The location is perfect for me because I get daily visits from my relatives! Management has gone above and beyond the call of duty to make my unit comfortable for my needs. My only issue is that I would like to have my own energy billing instead of the shared energy but I guess you can't have your cake and eat too."Thanks Glen Manor Staff I appreciate all that you have done to contribute to a great living experience!

Not a good experience with Glen Manor apartments. Poor communication from the office, building constantly smells of smoke and marijuana. I have asthma and I did not feel safe. The hallways and laundry room were always filthy. The building really made me feel uneasy throughout my lease. I would NOT recommend this apartment complex. It’s such a shame because I had such high expectations.

My name is Tiffany and i love living here. The ladies in the office are always so helpful and nice no matter what the situation is, and they are also always so sweet to my 5yr old son. Even the maintenance man always stopped for a few minutes to play with him. I recommend this place to anybody

WASHER AND DRYER NEVER WORKS.. we have been contacting the main office for over 5 months and fixing the issue didn’t seem like top priority. Living here with a unreliable washer and dryer is ridiculous. I would LOVE to contact someone ABOVE the two lady’s in the main office.

Have lived here for 7 years — which is roughly 4 too long. Multiple management changes — THREE in the past 18 months! — and nothing ever improves. Most recent team seems unfriendly and more interested in doing everything on the cheap rather than creating a comfortable environment. Rent too high — and goes up every year despite all the maintenance, utility, facility, and neighbor problems. Oh and the utility costs are out of your control because they use a “shared” cost plan. So you can’t manage your own bill. Laundry room facilities are ALWAYS broken so you have to use an external laundromat. Trash pickup is sketchy. Snow removal is non-existent and, because of the hills, it may be impossible to actually get out of the parking lot to go to work. Our air conditioner has broken EVERY YEAR since we’ve been there. Usually on the hottest weekend of the year. This year maintenance didn’t bother to show up for two days — and that was ONLY AFTER we called them to follow-up on our service request. AND THEN told us we would be without The AC for an additional FOUR DAYS. Oh, but don’t expect a utility cost refund — that ain’t gonna happen. Most recently, they fired their entire team of maintenance guys and replaced them with one. One. And finally, the smell of pot (especially on the weekends) is UNGODLY. And the smell is not just in the halls — at times it is so strong that it gets into our apartment to the point we have to leave. because, in all honesty, your eyes water! My hand to God — it was SO BAD earlier this year that our cat actually got a contact high while we were our running errands. Just one of the many issues caused by a handful of awful neighbors who ruin things for everyone else. The same neighbors that leave used cat litter in the halls and parking lot and drop trash in front of the dumpster instead of burning a calorie to lift it into the dumpster. There are a lot of vacancies and it’s easy to understand why. It’s a beautiful location and convenient. When we first moved in, it seemed well-worth the high rent. Maybe the new management will eventually turn things around. But now...no, I don’t recommend it. Trust me, the beauty of the location stops at the front door. :(

We moved in about a year and a half ago, other than the parking no complaints until about 6 months ago.. it seems that all of a sudden people started throwing trash near the dumpster not into it, the hallways are disgusting and Very dirty carpets, our floor has two washers one has been broken for months, weed is definitely thick in the hallways at times, and my yes energy bill has gone from 75 to 85 and my last one was 144 no one can seem to explain why including yes energy! The office staff is Very nice but Glenn manor has changed ownership 3 times since I've been here.. my lease is up in March and i'm definitely out! PLEASE SCREEN THE PEOPLE THAT YOU RENT TO!
