Purchased a dress (full price)…..took it home and tried it on, wasn’t really satisfied with it, so decided to return it…..Had it in original bag, went into the shop and was immediately met at the door, and asked if I had a return…..I said ‘yes’ and clerk said She would take the bag and placed it at the cashier desk….Another clerk was at the cashier desk and I told her that the dress was a return…..the dress was in the bag with the original receipt…She took the dress out of the bag and SMELLED IT….she asked if I had laundered it……I replied ‘NO, that’s not what I would ever do!!…..she said it smells like laundry detergent!!She processed the return and I left the store, NEVER TO RETURN AGAIN…..!In all my years of shopping, I was never treated in this way!!

The clerk who assisted with my return was very pleasant and helpful. However, on previous trips clerks don't speak or look at you.

Always looks more interesting than it is. Mostly bland boring clothing that's more expensive than I want to pay for something I might wear to the supermarket.

Staff deliberately ignored me. I saw them over explaining all the sales and being so helpful to their white customers no one said a word to me. I even had a sales person walk right in front of me within 2 feet after helping another customer and she acted as if I were invisible. I couldn't believe how blatant they were. At first I thought it was my imagination and went back into the store a second time. Nope, same reaction. There were several pieces I was ready to purchase, but I couldn't bring myself to make a purchase and left. Hey ladies, I have money! I'm just brown. It's 2021.

The workers at this store do not want to help. I was dismayed to hear them all saying they can’t wait to get out of here, a half hour before closing.It seems none of them have much interest in Talbots clothes. I don’t think they took the proper markdowns on pants either.I miss Springfield where you felt welcomed!

I’ve been member with Talbot since two years. I come to this location because it’s close to my work place! Every time I came here staff were rude, unorganized and disrespectful! I’ll never come to this location again!!
