Arrived at 5:54 to do a quick return for store credit. Employee had already closed the store and would not let me in. It was pouring rain and I rushed after work to be able to get this return done before going out of state. Unacceptable. This stores selection is also not great. I was hoping to use my store credit to do an online purchase while the sale is still going on and won’t be able to do that because the employees here can’t even stay until closing time. They can barely use the cash registers but that’s a different story… I understand the employee wanting to leave early since no one ever shops here but if you’re open until six then stay open until six.

Today was the first time shopping at Soma for my daughter and I. Sarah was AMAZING at the Glen Mills location very knowledgeable and she measured us both perfectly! My daughter is happy and so am I with our new comfortable fitting bras. Thank you Soma and Sarah

I bought a pair of underwear in Naples, FL two weeks ago. Wore them once and washed them once. They ripped after ONE washing. You can plainly see when you look at them that they are brand new. By the grace of God I had the receipt. My daughter went in to return them for me because I was traveling for work. Joann refused to take them back and told my daughter I should have SAVED THE TAGS.Curious how many ladies out there save the tags or receipts for underwear after wearing them.I am a rewards member and have been buying my intimates at Soma for years.My daughter also said Joann was busy on a personal phone call when she walked in and made no effort to greet her. This was 4/2/2023 at noon.I’ve never attempted to return anything at Soma—only size exchanges. I’m finished with Soma and will never step foot in the one in Glen Mills. I’ve only been in that one a handful of times and it’s inventory is exceptionally low and the staff leaves much to be desired for the most part.It was clear that Joann is not interested in “customer service” and ought not to be working in the field.UPDATE: I received a second call from my daughter. She was extremely upset. She said the woman told her that she was shocked that she would attempt to return a pair of clearly used underwear. They were not clearly used. They were brand new save for ONE wearing and ONE washing. My daughter said she was rude to her from the moment she walked in and she was treated like her being in the store was a huge inconvenience to her. She didn’t want to process the return. She felt she could intimidate a young woman, who by the way works with people every day and is polite and professional. I just called and spoke to the woman who was working. She was rude the moment I said who I was and why I was calling. I was very polite. She said my daughter was cursing at her. I replied that she has never cursed a day in her life. Not to mention I was on the phone with her while she was speaking with my daughter. When I said I was calling because of how rude she was to my daughter she told me my daughter was cursing at her, and THEN said if my daughter went back in that she would give her the exchange. I replied that I no longer cared about the exchange because I’d received a call from my daughter who was extremely upset at how she was treated. And then she hung up on me.I have never had this happen at any Soma store but I’ve never had good luck in that store.She also said her name was not “Joanne” or “Joan” and would not give me her name.Beware.

I had a great experience shopping today! I was hoping for more variety in bras, and the sales weren’t clearly marked (which worked out in my favor), but the customer service will make me shop here again and again. Debbie was super helpful showing me around and asking about my preferences. She even let my kiddos follow her around as she returned bras from fitting rooms, so I could try mine on in peace!

The sales associates are very helpful. There is always a sale going on. I would suggest ordering in store or buying in store. The shipping process is very long.

Five stars for the superb customer service from Christine. She was really sweet. Minus three stars for the poorly constructed undergarments. I really want to like Soma. Yesterday was my second time in a Soma store. The first time was about a year ago at a different location. I received fantastic customer service both times. The quality sucks though. The fabrics feel marginally better than Victoria Secret fabrics. But that's not saying much. Yesterday, I came to this location to try on some strapless bras because #Spring #Summer #ShoulderBaringDresses. I tried on the Vanishing Strapless Bra. The 34D was too wide in the band, but the cups were too small. Please explain to me why the 34DD was even tighter in the band than the 34D. It was so tight, that I couldn't event rotate the bra around after clasping it. I get that sizing can be off, but within the same brand and bra type, sizing should be fairly consistent. This is really off-putting especially considering Soma's ironclad, unforgiving return policy. Next I tried on the Embraceable. That's kind of misleading, because I never even put it on my body. The rubber slip-grip treads were peeling away from the fabric in several places. This was the point where it clicked for me: Just like their competitor Victoria Secret, Soma also sells poorly constructed garments. I'm going to hit up Nordstrom's where I can try on several different brands of strapless bras. I hope the attendants at Nordy have the same customer service aptitude as Soma reps.

Although they didn't have my (rare/hard to find) size in stock, they sent me to a competitor instead of trying to push a sale with an ill-fitting bra. So many stores case more about the sale than making sure customers get the right fit.
