Forge is a family business in the best sense of the term. I hired Forge to help convert part of our barn into a hangout space. They made recommendations to ensure the finished project would be safe for use, and worked with us to keep the project on budget. The owners of the business also do a lot of the work and were on site everyday, which made communication easy. Overall, they were great to work with and I'll call them again when the need arises.

Joe and his team just completed a home renovation on a 300 year old home my husband and I purchased in Chester county. We planned to start the renovation as soon as we purchased the home in April, and Joe was there with his team the day after closing to get to work. He was quick to supply our initial quote and get us on his books when we first reached out. We converted a small bedroom into a master bathroom and knocked down a wall in the kitchen to open up the space to our family room (as well as some minor kitchen renovations like new countertops and dishwasher and sink install). Given the age of the house, we were worried about potential road blocks and delays on the renovation, but he clearly had a lot of experience with old houses. Joe stuck to his initial timeline he gave us and was here almost every day working to get the renovation done. We were extremely pleased with how professional all of the people he brought into our house were-they were neat, timely and kind. We would definitely recommend Forge Construction to anyone considering home renovations. Thank you Joe and his team for all of the amazing work!

Words can do no justice to our level of satisfaction with Joe’s and Greg’s professionalism and workmanship in completing our recent basement gym project. From the moment that Joe provided his estimate, his level of communication and commitment to timelines were exemplary and, candidly, exceedingly rare by today’s standards. Joe and Greg clearly take pride in their own work and in selecting like-minded and equally professional subcontractors. Joe and Greg just completed a kitchen and first floor powder room renovation and the work is impeccable. I have had a lot of work done on the house over the last few years and this was my best experience by a significant measurement. Joe is an experienced GC that is onsite everyday of the job and very involved in every aspect of it. His subcontractors are true craftsman of their respective trades and have been developed over the years to create a seamless team of professionals working inside your home. Everyone that is part of the job is professional, neat and cleans up after themselves everyday before they leave. They also hold themselves to a very high standard for quality and put the required time in to prep and planning to ensure there are no issues or mistakes. This is a very important aspect of how they work as many contractors today feel the need to rush everything and deal with the issues later.It is another small detail, but the core group of suppliers that they use are also very easy to work with and were competitively priced for the quality of the lines they carried. It was encouraging listening to and observing them collaborate with Joe on the plan like they do this day in and day out. Lastly, I felt very comfortable with them working in the house while I was away and trusted them to lock up when they left. I typically would not do that with any other contractor. We used Forge Construction for our bathroom remodeling project. From the moment Joe and Greg came to look at our project, we knew they were extremely knowledgeable and professional. They fixed floor structural issues, ran all new plumbing lines, created a brand new bathroom, and created a coffered ceiling in our living room. Their attention to detail was immaculate and I could not have hoped for a better finished product. We worked with Joe and Greg from Forge Construction this past spring to do some major work on our house. We renovated two bathrooms and our kitchen. We could not more pleased with the results. Joe’s team are true masters of their crafts…from the electricians to the painters to the tile installer, everyone did a top job. Joe and Greg from Forge Construction remodeled our basement and they did an amazing job! They are very easy to work with. As the project took shape we inevitably made changes and they were so accommodating about the changes. Each stage of their work is so well done. The framing, which literally no one would ever see, was done to perfection! They straightened out what were crooked walls and odd angles so the finished product was straight and true. On top of their truly quality work was the fact they were there when they said they would be and at the end of each day the work space was clean. They start a project and they finish a project. Forge Construction is almost complete a total kitchen remodel and expansion at our home in Swarthmore. Thus far the attention to detail and pride of workmanship Joe and Greg demonstrate each day in our home has met all of our expectations. Communication has been excellent with all work done on time and within budget. Joe Villante is onsite daily managing every detail of the project himself. We've used Forge Construction for four projects now, about to start a fifth. Not a better home renovation experience to be had. I see what my friends go through if they choose someone else and it makes us feel even better about our decision. Joe is professional, responsible, and sticks to the budget. He handles the subcontractors and addresses any concerns we have. Joe and Greg are there every day on site, doing the work, not just coming by to check on things. Forge construction did a terrific job with expanding our 2 car garage into a 4 car garage - we were so pleased with the work that we hired them to replace the siding and trim on our entire house, replacing old cedar with new Hardieplank siding. Their attention to detail was top notch, the price was competitive, and the efficiency of each job was excellent. I would hire them again in a second.
