I really sat here and read all the reviews. I was going to book a stay here for 6 days but I will have to pass. Most of these reviews are okay, but the other ones yeah. It look like they play around with people and steal their money, which is a crime. If 2-3 people keep saying they are being charged after not staying, and the staff are unprofessional then that needs to be handled. If I was them I would sue the owner of the hotel. And I'm the type to keep reciepts. I really wish I had the time to go undercover whew. And to the MANAGER you are responding to majority of all the negative comments and not the good ones. So there is truth to those negative comments. Oml. It looks like a nice place to stay but yeah ima pass.Safety: I Didn't stay here just read the reviews before I was gonna book but didn't sad

This review is for the owner of THE BEST WESTERN CONCORDVILLE IN GLEN MILLS!!!! What hotel has a set thermostat. They said you the owner has them all set at 75. With a draft due to the big window. Im walking around with my robe on. My kids were cold. Now to the fine people thinking about staying here. If you are a naturally cold don’t stay here. I have a condition that makes me cold all the time. I would never book a hotel 20 min from home to stay in a cold room when my home is warm as I want it. Manager not even in for a week. And front desk could not offer us a discount our anything. Said you been here for three hrs. Yes because we came in went straight to the pool. And then came back and Suprise. We are now cold getting out of the pool and going back to a cold room. And all they could do is give more covers had to take a shower to get warmer. I had to turn the shower on for a few to warm the room. The shower is hotter than the room. Not to mention the shower whistles loud. When I decided to stay here I was hesitant because it’s a best western. But the location is a high-in location and the pic looked nice on the out side reviews were relatively good. I will never stay at a best western. I’m in the room now and so upset the managers not here and I’m ready to go home. Came here for the pool for the kids. They said it was 86 degrees every person that came said it was luke warm. When I requested they turn it up the maintenance said it was 86. Everyone looked at him like no it’s not. Other guest were getting out because they were cold. Matinence looked like he had a attitude all he had to do was stick his hand in the water and tell it was not warm. Now all my complaints were voiced in the nicest way…. Again. Why have a set thermostat and not tell people who book a room…..Rooms: The rooms are not hot. Set temp. Who does that…..Safety: Felt safe. But coldNoteworthy details: Rooms have a set temperature setting manager not available conveniently!!! Not noted anywhere that the temp will only go to a set limit. So if you are naturally cold to bad.

Rooms: The room was cleaned excellent and smelled really good. Everything was great about the room but the hole in the shower curtain.Food & drinks: Unfortunately, we came on Monday n Tuesday the restaurant and bar was closed so I didn't get a chance to indulge. Overall, it was a lovely hotel. I would visit again if in the area.

I grew up just 2 miles from this Hotel many many years ago when there was pretty much just fields around. I cannot believe that we have a hotel of this caliber right in basically my old backyard. Many times my family and I went to the Concordville Inn, which was just in front of this hotel, so I was very happy that facing moving my aging father in and out of rehab, hospital and assisted-living, I would be able to come on a regular basis and stay in this hotel. The exterior and grounds are lovely. It is conveniently located off two major, thorough fairs, very close to shops, boutiques, and restaurants. Quick and easy ride to many sites , including the Delaware border just minutes away and just a quick hop skip and jump to Philadelphia if you are inclined. The lobby is very large and spacious and elegant. It is spotlessly clean. Because I have been traveling twice a month for the past five months for somewhat difficult circumstances, it is very nice to be greeted by staff who recognize me and have friendly faces . I have never stayed in a room here that has been subpar. Always clean always comfortable. No strange smells ample towels and toiletries. The beds are extremely comfortable. The Wi-Fi works and there is even a mini fridge. The only downside is the last visit. The walls seem to be very thin as I could hear the telephone conversation that was happening on the room next to me it seemed that the two beds are both sharing the same wall in my room and in theirs that is the first time that has happened. This hotel boasts, a pool, a gym, a new restaurant/bar a small grocery area to buy necessities free, coffee and fruit downstairs and free breakfast in the morning. I just some time there right before Christmas and was impressed by the decorations in the lobby. Every time I go to this hotel, even though I am away from home , and returning to my hometown for a rather sad reason I am made to feel very comfortable and welcome. The hotel does remind me of hotels I have stayed in in London or larger cities like Washington DC but the staff give it a very homey feel. I would highly recommend staying here and if you plan on coming to this area often, I would suggest be coming a Best Western member , there are great prices to be had. Husband and I are Marriott rewards members, but I still choose this hotel because of all the things I just mentioned. We both have hotel backgrounds and have high expectations and tend to be very particular. This hotel always exceeds my expectations in terms of rooms and staffRooms: Beds are very comfortable. Rooms are good size plenty of towels and toiletries, always clean, looking and clean smelling I have a hotel background and I am very particular. This always exceeds my expectations.Nearby activities: Many local points of interest, including Brandywine Battlefield, Chad Ford , where there are wineries and art galleries shops galore, including standards, like marshals and TJ Maxx, as well as luxury shops, just half a mile up the roadSafety: As a solo, female traveler, I always feel safe here

This is a gorgeous hotel with nice sized rooms. The free breakfast was really nice. Best Western has the best free breakfasts. The only downside to this hotel is the location. It’s not in area that has much to do so you have to drive to do anything.

The lobby was having computer issues when I arrived. Very frustrating for the staff and for the guests. I think they need an updated or upgraded system. The wait was a long time.My issue wasn't with staff though. It was with the rooms and hotel in general. The rooms appeared to be clean and nice, but every room and the hotel in general (we were there for a wedding with a lot of people) smelled like poop or feet. This notion was confirmed by others I asked as well. I wanted to make sure I wasn't crazy. It was unpleasant. I think the floors might need a good steaming. I don't know if I'd stay here again. The breakfast was also not very good. Staff's overall demeanor was that they had to deal with a lot of people and were trying to hold it together, but I get that so I want to reiterate that my issue was not with the staff.

Great value! For the price, it exceeded our expectations. Front desk personnel (night and morning shifts) were very friendly and amazing! Lobby was nicely decorated for the holidays. Room was clean and cozy. We liked the pool and the gym. Plenty of parking. Quiet and good location. Breakfast was alright. The man in charge of the breakfast wasn’t particularly welcoming. ? Sweet housekeepers!
