“Every time I visit here I find a great piece that's exactly what I was looking for, whether it be a funky sweater for winter or the perfect bag or blazer for work. Clearly a lot of care and consideration is put into the curation of the pieces that are sold. You can look forward to a friendly atmosphere and free iced coffee. You also get a reusable tote with your purchase!”
“Love this store the staff is very polite and reasonable prices great stuff I have bought alot of small and big items from them. I'm there every week. So I would recommend this store they have just about everything I hope they stay in business forever lol”

1116 Castle Shannon Blvd #1, Pittsburgh“Lovey antique shop right outside of pittsburgh. WOW, was I impressed. Not only were the associates beyond helpful, they are quick to act. I found two items without prices and immediately the associate contacted the vendor. I was able to leave with both items that day for an awesome price. If you thrift, the average place will not sell you anything without a price tag. Not only will this store follow-up with its vendors, but they knew each one of them by name. That was so meaningful. As a vendor, you are generally overlooked and just a “number” for the business. My experience here really embraced the family feel and I am so happy I stopped. This will be a go to for me for years to come. 10/10!”

1824 Homeville Rd, West Mifflin“The people who work here really care about these cats, you have to prove you have standard requirements to be considered to adopt them, which is great that they don’t want to just give them to anybody. I’m so happy to adopt my new little baby girl kitty from them!”

855 E Carson St, Pittsburgh“On a business trip to Pittsburgh, my suitcase got drenched. I had to find some dry clothes and suitcase fast. Salvation Army was a godsend. Managed to find a shirt and pants that fit me, of good quality that I wore to a business meeting. Worked well!”
“Great place for used building materials and second hand furniture. They also have lighting fixtures, a large selection of wood, paint, used hardware, toilets, bathtubs and more.”
“Wonderful shop!!! Clean, organized, and found many hidden treasures. I recommend if your in Mt. Oliver and have some time stop in and see Ms. Brandi...she was very nice and hospitable.”
“They always have such a variety of items and fair prices. The staff volunteers are extremely friendly which enhances the experience. Sales go to a wonderful cause!”
“The store is small, so you have to have the right mindset going in because they cram those racks to the brim. But once you get past the overwhelming amount of stuff to look through, it's an amazing spot. They always have a wide assortment of jewelry and belts/accessories to look through. I got a cool vintage bronze gauntlet thing there once. The other time I went they had this vintage matching suit that fit me perfectly. And every once In a while they have trash bag sales where you can fill a whole bag for a flat rate (I think it was like $10/bag) Pictured below is a few of the pieces I've thrifted from there in the past”
“Very nice people

7402 Church St, Pittsburgh“Amazing store for furniture! They have a large selection and many pieces are beautiful vintage/antiques. Items come and go, but they had lamps, mirrors, artwork, and gorgeous kitchen cabinets. Definitely worth trip to see what they have!”

1501 Reedsdale St #3003, Pittsburgh“My time of need practically penniless St. Vincent De Paul came to my rescue. I don’t know what I would’ve done. It was a blessing. I have worked my whole entire life. I did not know places like this existed. All I can say is I was blessed and I think God that people who are willing to give their time to help people in need. They are wonderful.”
“I was worried about visiting here. The other reviews were often negative.Went in everybody nice prices were good not sure why everybody was complaining, but it seemed like a nice thrift store to me”
“One of the only thrifts stores in the Pittsburgh areas where most basic items are thrift price. You can still get jeans for $3-8, polos/tshirts $3-6, shoes/boots for $5-15. They stuff they price up is usually appropriate and still worth it on deal days.”

6150 Mountain View Dr, West Mifflin“BEST THRIFT STORE!!! 100% recommend if your thinking about going, best vintage items and great clothing! Also have changing rooms and great music. And the best employees!!!”
“They had a booth at Construction Junction's vintage mart, and I made a beeline for the Star Wars toys to buy something for my boyfriend. Found this 78 X-Wing Luke and a Miss Piggy McDonald's glass from 81. Very neat finds if you're a collector of fun toys of yesteryear. The earrings in the pic were from another lovely booth called The Serendipitous Find that had thrifted clothes and handmade jewelry.Definitely come on out to CJ during vintage mart! It's a lot of fun and the vendors work hard to put on a great event.”

6150 Mountain View Dr, West Mifflin“I've always liked coming here. I've shopped at this store occasionally for like 18 years. It's one of the few thrift stores that has reasonably priced items. The store is pretty much always clean. I like going in the morning because it's pretty calm then. I almost always end up buying something for someone in my family. I love that they have sales. So on any given day, two color tags will be 50% off and one color tag will be 99 cents. I was actually there today and found many NICE things for only 99 cents. This is definitely a fun place to go look around. The most important thing to remember about this location though is that they do not give plastic bags for your items. You have to remember to bring your own bags or you can buy a red reusable bag for a dollar. The Uniontown location is nice also if you're ever in that area.”
“Nice place to buy something cheap that you might like or need like a Sony Cd and cassette recorder for $30.00 bucks that looks like new WOW! Or kitchen items and clothing also it's very clean inside too. Very nice store..”

2700 E Carson St, Pittsburgh“The best Goodwill I've ever been to for clothing. I went in WANTING a black puffy vest for fall and winter expecting to leave with nothing. I walked in and saw two perfect vests right there. I ran to them. Fit amazing. Got both.Tons of clothing to pick from.Very very long lines but who cares when you get name brand things for amazing prices.Would highly recommend. I definitely plan on coming back more often!!”

5993 Centre Ave, Pittsburgh“Not a huge goodwill but quality stuff. I'd say better quality than others in the city. Prices are a little higher to reflect that but I've found some good stuff here, parking is tough but that's just the nature of the location”
“My daughter and I like to thrift and this is one of THE BEST stores to shop! The variety and quality of items is incomparable! Plus, the staff are friendly and helpful. 10/10”
10AM - 6PM
12751 Lincoln Hwy, North Huntingdon“This is probably the best Salvation Army store anywhere in the area. It usually has a good selection of items, and the prices are always good. They DO HAVE DRESSING ROOMS at this location, that is a big plus when buying clothes.”
“Reasonable selection, but not super extensive. For instance, they have men's dress shirts, but no blazers. They have kitchen supplies, but mostly ceramic/glass (minimal plastic plates/cups). So, nothing to complain about for a second hand store but also not exceptional.”
“The best goodwill outlet I’ve shopped at. The workers are always nice. The line up before bin change is a safe alternative compared to other goodwill outlets. Wear gloves. They seem to sort the bins better. Less hazardous items in the bins.”
“love helping people and giving stuff away for new home one mans trash another mans treasure especially when it comes to bulk items and friendly service. Everybody works there so awesome. when it comes to donate or thrift shopping, I’ll recommend you guys even when it’s clean out season from a school or neighbors ? which means I like to go to kennywood or sandcastle water park when I’m having fun like this after a hard day at work and helping others”
