I went here for a gear change on my ram 3500. After a few hundred miles, the differential was grinding and binding. I went back on three occasions to have them fix their mistake. They charged me each time I went in to check their own work! Finally I got fed up and went to a different shop. This shop found that the shims were not seated properly. Another $2,200 out the window. The reason for this review is this shop did nothing to rectify their bad install but instead charged me every time I went in there TO RECTIFY THE PROBLEM. chilson automotive has had AMPLE amount of opportunity to make this right, but instead chose to keep taking my money and fixing NOTHING. this review will stay here until they pay for it... PERIOD. UPDATE--I received a call from the owner John chilson. He stated that I would get a lot farther if I were a little nicer. I was nice to him four times and he took advantage of it four times (read review above). He is still failing to accept responsibility. I want everyone in our area to know about this. You have all been warned!

John is the best automotive diagnostician I've met in my 50 years of owning cars, and is totally honest when it comes to whether or not the car is worth investing repair money into. He's well worth the 15 minute drive I make to get my cars to him.
