We were given their information to rent to our daughter (younger than 25) after an incident with a deer. They had a vehicle to our house within two hours, were absolutely kind and courteous, and picked up the vehicle directly from the collision center. Would highly recommend as your first call when you need a rental!

This company will charge your credit card even if you tell them not to. I used this company at the recommendation of Swamp Auto body while my car was being repaired from hail damage. I hit a pothole and popped a tire in Kulp's car. My mechanic looked it over and would have changed the tire for about $200. He advised me, though, that the tires on this rental pop easily and with the potholes in the area the car is not a good fit. I exchanged the car with Kulp for a more suitable vehicle. Kulp then charged my card for $717.66 because Dennis Kulp claimed that I damaged the rim. This charge to my card came AFTER I emailed Dennis requesting the rim for a check made out to Kulp for the $717.66 - if I damaged the rim I would purchase the rim. My card was charged. I would advise not using this company for a rental. As others have shared in reviews - they will charge your credit card for large sums of money. I regret needing to leave one star for this rating.

I have used Kulp quite a few times for rentals while my vehicle was being repaired through insurance claims. After my last experience, I will NEVER rent through this business or recommend them to anyone I know. While driving to work on my last day to have the car, a deer jumped out in front of me. I could not avoid collision. My auto insurance paid Kulp for all damages incurred. Weeks later, I receive an invoice for nearly $4000 more. Kulp is charging me for miscellaneous items related to that insurance claim. Next thing I now, Mr Kulp emails me saying they will agree to a lesser amount. Before I could even respond, my credit card is charged for $1000, and the demands for an additional $600 continue. This is going back and forth between Kulp and my insurance company. In an email, after that $1000 charge, I demanded that my credit card be removed from my file. My card has now been charged for that additional $600. Kulp has now been paid for the rental of the vehicle I had, the damages incurred from an animal strike and, apparently, any other amounts of money they have decided they are privy to.

Received a bill today 12/15 from July 7 that I have a past due charge along with a court filing for the local district judge saying they have attempted to reach me- without a letter or phone call! I had a credit card on file with Conicelli Toyota and Kulp at the time of rental for billing as well! Very unprofessional!

My wife and I bought a car from here a couple weeks ago and had a great experience. They helped us find the right car and made sure that we were happy throughout the whole process. I will definitely do business with them again when we need another car and would happily recommend them to everyone.

I worked with Denise while I was looking for a used van to purchase. She was most helpful. Yes I would recommend this place if you need to rent or purchase.

I got my rental through kulp rentals. I as well had a horrible experience. I wish I would have looked up the reviews earlier. There where red flags from the beginning. I paid the 150.00 security deposit on june 8th. After I returned the rental, and finally saw the reviews I knew I was going to have a time getting my money back. I called and spoke to someone name owen on june 22, he said the money was put back on my card, and I would have it back in 1,2 business days. Based on the reviews I read.. I knew differently. After the 2 business, today I got the same person owen, this time I asked to speak to a manager. Owen put me on hold, and then hung up... I tried calling back and never got through to anyone. So I called the number on there website. The manger there told me the money was deposit TODAY in my account and it was a problem on "my banks behalf" (I read this on someone's else review, they did the same thing to them!) I also had my bank, and insurance company call them as well, no luck. As I expected. If I ever get my deposit back I will give an update...but please do not use kulp rental...you will save yourself a lot of stress, hassle etc.

This past November I was involved in an accident where the other driver was at fault. I decided to use Kulp Car Rentals since it was close and recommended by our insurance. When we first set up the rental they took a $150 security deposit the same day we received the rental, they explained that once the car was returned we would receive that deposit back. A few weeks later when my car was completed I returned the rental and they explained that they needed to receive the payme

I needed to rent a car while mine in the body shop. The body shop had a car available from Kulp's so I decided to try it. First, getting signed up over the phone seemed to take forever and, of course, they made a push using "scare" tactics to sell you additional insurance. After speaking to my insurance adjuster I decided to drop the $5.99 a day coverage they talked me into. So I called Kulp's to cancel the coverage. It took forever to get someone to answer. Then they transferred me to someone else whose answering machine I got. Had to call back to try again to finally get a person. MY wife was driving the rental and did not like how low she sat in the car. Again, I had trouble getting someone to answer the phone and then was told my insurance did not cover a small SUV. I finally just returned their car, talked to my adjuster who got me a mid size SUV from Enterprise. Enterprise was wonderful. They answer their phone and it took about five minutes before we drove off in a mid size SUV. I should have gone to Enterprise right away.

Dennis Kulp, owner of Kulp Car Rentals, has ALWAYS, 100% OF THE TIME, been fair to us and several of our friends who have rented or purchased vehicles from him. Dennis has an unbelievable staff on the rental side of his facility. Recently I used them because my car was in the shop. They were extremely polite, kind, and did everything they could to make my experience an extremely easy one! Dennis has an expert staff in his Service Department. TYLER KULP, no relation to Dennis, has ALWAYS, 100% OF THE TIME, shown me customer service that matches none other in my many car servicing experiences! Tyler makes me feel like I am his only customer, and not many companies either care or have the manpower to do that these days! (Tyler, thank you for treating me so kindly when our car was at your shop last month.) Finally, DENNIS KULP IS THE BEST PERSON TO PURCHASE A VEHICLE FROM!!!!! We will not purchase a vehicle from anyone else because Dennis is fair, cares about his customers, and gives them guaranteed, 100% satisfaction with his negotiations, sales and service throughout the life of the vehicle. THANK YOU, DENNIS, AND MAY YOU HAVE A BLESSED NEW YEAR.
