Had such a positive experience bringing my kitten in for his wellness check. The doctor was very thorough, checked off all our boxes and reviewed all treatment options. The technicians are so patient and sweet with my animals, and my cat was purring the entire time. I trust them and thank them for their amazing services!

These are caring, patient vets. My dogs LOVE them, which means we do, too. Their vets and staff are amazing. I recommend this practice VERY highly to anyone looking for professional, knowledgeable, and dedicated individuals. The staff provide excellent, personal information. I've seen other reviews complain about the prices. I feel they are very transparent, provide multiple options and have stellar follow-up.

On 03/04/2022, our dog Claude, a year old healthy black Labrador Retriever, was neutered at GVH. By Sunday, Claude had developed a 7 pound fluid bubble on his chest/rib cage area. On 03/07, we took Claude back to GVH and, without performing any labs, Dr. Alivernini diagnosed him with a seroma. Claude's condition continued to worsen and on 03/09/2022, we took Claude to VRC where he was diagnosed with a septic abdomen, slipped into shock and underwent emergency surgery. By 03/10/2022, Claude's kidneys shut down and we had to make the difficult decision to end his pain. Throughout our ordeal, Dr. Alivernini was cavalier about the situation and treated us like we were overreacting. She still has not contacted us regarding Claude's death.

Great experience. Little to no wait time. All the staff are friendly and take the time to explain things. The office is clean and very well organized. Definitely trust Gilbertsville Vet to take care of Rosco.

Can't even comprehend what these people just did to my cat. The lack of caring and feelings is disgusting. Just because I didn't have another 400 for overnite care after surgery they released my cat knowing his kidneys were failing. Never proceeded to euthanize. Just sent him home to suffer and die. I was a multi pet customer as well for years. No offer to help. Dr Alverlieni didn't even call next day to follow up cause she knew he was failing. 800 dollars later. These people do not care about animal suffering.They claim they offered to give me an emergency appointment they Did NOT....the vet tech was the only one to get on the phone with me and said there was nothing more they could do there cause they knew we spent all.our money on the bogus procedure. They suggested Metro.They never said sorry for your loss. 3 weeks previous we lost our 18 yr old cat that was euthanized there.
These guys couldn't even send a text saying sorry. 300 for the euthanization and 300 for cremation which is top price in this area. Read your reviews you guys do this stuff repeatedly.
I spent plenty of money there this year on multiple pets you made us feel guilty that wedidn't have more money for an overnight stay. Rude greedy vets You need to be shut down. The medical director can't even get on the phone with her customers but she sure can write up an estimate. You sent home a suffering dying cat Shame on you..not to mention we were a multi pet customer for years....this was worst vet experience i have ever had.......I've gotten more compassion at a McDonald's drive thru....I have copies of receipts if anyone would like see charges
