We try to support local small businesses as much as possible over the big chain stores because the little guys are who built this country. This is little hidden gem is a great little Mom & Pop grocery store that's been here for a long time. They do their own butchering onsite and stock some of the name brands as well. My Grandfather butchered for them back in the 50s and maybe the 60s. The meat selection here is good and they're not gouging folks like the big chain stores. Check out the deli case too as they have some nice selections and the folks behind the counter always greet you with a smile. We'll come to Freed's as long as they're open.

Freed's is a wonderful, small family grocery store that has a great atmosphere. They offer the best & freshest butchered meat. Often visit for hard to find items & the family vibe. Can get a bit pricier than WalMart but you're paying for the special attention & superior quality AND service.

Very nice mom and pop store. Nice produce, meats and deli. It’s a great little store and great for if you need something from a store that’s decently priced and offers a fair amount of groceries.

I'll never stop in here again. Stopped in for a tomato,4.80 for a medium sized tomato ! That has to come out to 15.00 a pound! No wonder why there was no price on them in the produce section. Goodbye to these crooks!
