I had a really great experience here. Carly and Danielle helped me get all the things I needed to set up my fish tank and it's doing amazing! The staff here is always so friendly and helpful. The fish selection is pretty good and having knowledgeable staff is such a bonus. Thank you!!

Corrine helped me whenever I went to do a return she was very rude. She had a terrible attitude and said some passive aggressive thing about what I said. Then after I was doing my shopping she had said more passive aggressive stuff to say. Extremely unprofessional behavior.

I'd leave a 0 if I could. I went there for grooming service & it took 30 minutes to even get checked in. Don't go here.

Just popped in to see the animals! I was greeted by Danielle and I had such a nice time watching her gently interact with the chameleons. We also held the ferrets and talked about what great therapy animals are. She was so sweet and really made my day. A huge bonus is that the store was very clean & I can tell Danielle really cares about the animals and also knows her stuff!

Walked in the door and wasn't even greeted. It was almost as if my dog and I didn't exist. I went in looking for something for my son's hamster. The shelves were dirty and nothing was in the right place. Overheard a woman with the small animal cage open almost trying to talk a man with small children into buying something. Hearing the man say, "you need to let it go we're not ready for that" caused me to look. She then turned and smirked at me. Walked through to look at the fish and the kid working there walked away from me. Then to overhear the mouth on the "manager". All I can say is wow. I'll be shopping down the road at PSP or online from now on.

I had a grooming appointment for my dog booked for over a month, but the morning of the appt, my 2 year old son woke up sick so we were running a little behind. I received a text that if we were more than 15 minutes late, they would cancel the appointment. I replied that we would be 18 minutes late because my son was sick, but they didn't respond. We got there 17 minutes late, and as I was getting out of my car, I saw the groomer quickly run out of the door, get in her car, and drive away. I then we received a text that my dog's appointment was cancelled. They seem to have zero regard for their customers, so I would caution people to find somewhere else instead. There's a reason most groomers besides Petco are booked out so far.

For my cat who has conjunctivitis, I wanted to purchase eye wipes, wash, and ointment. The Petco closest to where I live did not have these products in stock, but according to the website, this location in Gibsonia did have the products. When I entered the store, an employee saw me but did not say hello or ask if I needed assistance. After a few minutes, I found the products on the shelves. I noticed that the listed prices were more expensive than on Petco's website. At the checkout, only one cash register was open, so the line of customers moved slowly. The cashier said a friendly hello. My three products in the store ended up costing a total of $12 more than if I had ordered them online, but I did not want to wait days for the products to arrive in the mail. I feel very thankful that I was able to buy these products, and I hope that they clear up my cat's eye infection.

Friendly and helpful. We didn't know Anything about chameleons but we knew we wanted to bring home our new companion we met in the store who we fell in love with on the spot. Our new companion requires specific care which the staff walked us through step-by-step to make sure that our chameleon would be well-adjusted, healthy and happy in her home- and she is! We are now proud Chamaeleon parents, and we regularly buy fresh batches of worms and crickets at the store and our Chameleon is healthy and thriving! Every time we need anything at the store the staff are prompt and helpful to us. Don't believe the other negative reviewer's they are just not friendly people I guess.

just now Terrible customer service. Needed help with fish, waited while the employee was helping another customer, probably 10 minutes (yes, she saw me). She walked the customer to the checkout counter then disappeared in the back. She never acknowledged me, said I'm going on break, asked someone else to help me. She just disappeared. Two minutes later she left the store.

I observed multiple fish tanks full of ich and dead fish all over.. one of the dirtiest petco around.. they are f****** up home aquariums 1 fish at a time

My husband scheduled a grooming appointment online at the Gibsonia location. Upon arrival the day of my appointment we were told they would not take my dog because he had a stroke (over 18 months ago!). They groomed him 3 months earlier!!! They said the only way they would see him is if we had a note from the vet that he was stroke free. If this was in your system why would you not call and let the client know??? To top it off the associate was less than helpful - did not provide with any advice or even offer to allow me to call the vet. Said he just found out 15 minutes ago and he was "just the messenger." Horrible customer service...

Did an online order for 3 seresto collars, online said they had them so bought them and the money came out of my account. The next day it turned out they did not have them but didn’t bother to tell me. Received an email saying they could find in at another store so I called this Gibsonia store and the manager was VERY rude and offered no help whatsoever and said it would take a week to find out if another store had them?? Now I’m left without my money because it takes 5-7 business days to get a refund and no seresto collars.

Denise is such an excellent trainer. Logan loves going to class and she takes her time with him! You need a lot of patience with my wiggle butt pup but Denise never gets overwhelmed by his craziness. Looking forward to more training with her.
