“Hastings is the FIRST PLACE I go for commonly needed items -electrical, plumbing, bird food and feeders, household cleansers, or nuts, bolts and pull chain lamp sockets. Everyone in there offers to help you find what you need. The gentleman in electrical department found a new cane tip for me, used brute strength to pull the worn one off and applied the new! What’s not to love about Hastings!!”
“I went in with only a general idea of what I needed and a super nice employee double checked I had the exact type of product I needed for my application and even opened a second door for me since I had my girls in a stroller. Everything was reasonably priced as well! I haven't stopped here before, but I will definitely be back.”

“Flatbed overnight parked in the front near the beams They start From 8am to 3pm got unloaded in 10 mins. To get unloaded it’s actually in the yard on Old Route 8N the yard behind. Be careful kinda tricky to get in the entrance is at a slant from PA 228.”
“4.5 stars. Harbor Freight Tools is a chain store that sells tools, hardware, painting supplies, and many other home-improvement products. Many products are from private in-house brands.
So far, I have shopped in this store one time. I joined their membership program, which allowed me to choose one inexpensive product for free. I purchased a few other products. Their prices were low to moderate, compared to other home-improvement stores’ prices. The cashier quickly and accurately rang up my purchase.”
“On March 7, 2023, I visited my local Busy Beaver store in Castle Shannon. I should say here that I have never had a bad experience in this store. The representatives have always been helpful, friendly, and professional.On March 7, my cashier was Meegan and she asked if I would need help loading the 4 bags of potting soil I bought on sale. I said, "No, I'd be fine," thanked her and left. When I backed up my car to the stack of potting soil, there was Meegan standing there waving at me. She joked, "I don't listen well" and helped me load the bags in the car. I thanked her and tried to give her a lottery ticket which she declined.Please tell her how much I appreciated her attitude and help.Mike”

This Home Depot in particular is the exception, I am always treated with respect, and I always receive the quality help and care I need when shopping for all sorts of products. The other stores in the area are so bad that I've gone in, sought help or specific products, and I leave to come to this Home Depot each time, the only one that's worthy.”

“The employees are very nice and helpful, they sometimes have real long lines but it depends on the time of the day and how many cashiers they have. It's big enough to have a large selection of stuff but small enough that it's easy to find your way around.”

“Need an odd part for your dishwasher or HVAC? Ace is more likely to have it than the big box chains. This location is inside Giant Eagle, and isn't staffed consistently. You can pay for your items at the grocery checkout. Call first if you need to talk to one of their experts.”
“Jessie was great, I was returning items pass 90 days, she stated I could but, I would get store credit or gift card. Deal! I was thinking I was not going to get anything. I went to returning it went back on my discover card, even better. However, I did see someone try to return an empty can flex seal. That was very funny. The woman a great job of keeping it together. I was laughing the entire time. She let the guy know that she cannot return nothing and nothing was in that can. 5 stars”

“This Home Depot store offered a particular floor tile and grout that I needed. I appreciated that I could easily find the products and that the shelves were fully stocked. I did not need to purchase any other types of products, but the store appeared to also have a good selection of appliances, garden supplies, building materials, tools, etcetera.”
“Tonight we bought a grill at the Cranberry Lowes. We were helped by a young man named Daniel. He was so helpful and really assisted us in making a decision. He even helped my husband lift the heavy item into our vehicle. Great to see such a young man who was polite and patient and knowledgeable.”
“I found everything I needed. However, the service was horrible. The young kids they have working there just really don't care. And they just want you out of their face. Four of their workers told me that they do not have a specific item I was looking for. They all told me to go to home depot. Which is hilarious they were sending me to their biggest competitor. I kept telling them when I Google this item it tells me to go to Lowe's it does not have anything about Home Depot written down. And I called Home Depot and they don't have it. Lowe's carries it. They all told me no no. So after 30 minutes of investigation. I find out that Lowe's actually does carry it and I found it myself and bought it. With zero help from the teenagers that they had working there.”

“The best Lowe’s i’ve ever worked for! As a contractor who was there replacing the HVAC units i’ve came across this amazing employee named Terri and many more great employees throughout the store! Mrs Terri needs a raise!!! She’s given nothing but exceptional customer service and does her job amazing and always goes above and beyond than what she needs too! I will never forget meeting such a beautiful soul who puts so much effort into what she does. Apart from Terri, the employees are always there to help you regardless if you didn’t ask for help. Great teamwork all around. Would love to come back here again.”
