Our porch swing was sloppily put together, screws nearly missing the bottom bracing wood because the screw lines were really wavy. Looks like someone had beers over lunch before returning to work. Our contractor said it wouldn't affect sturdiness but it looked bad. I told Fifthroom and was given the number of the manufacturer instead of handling it themselves. Not acceptable. The manufacturer gave us free bolster pillows.
Update 6/20/24: The owner contacted me, apologized, and offered a 10% refund. That's stepping up. I added a star.

Buying experience could have been better. We received many incorrect parts, some boards were not pre drilled, arm rests were incorrect, the back sweetheart part was poorly routered, received no instructions, and the communication from Fifth Room was poor. Once we received everything needed to assemble, the process took longer than expected but we finally got the glider assembled. Thought the poly would last longer, has been outside for 2 months and it’s already showing its wear. We do like the look of the glider and enjoy using it but unfortunately will not be ordering from Fifth Room in the future.

I bought a bridge 16’ long to replace my old, rotted one. I stained it a redwood color and it came out beautiful. (I tried a natural cedar color first but it looked really orange/yellow.)
I had two friends put it together and they said it was made really well and looked like a lot of work went in to it. I live near Tahoe so I’m hoping it stands up to snow and rain. I’m very happy with it so far!

Missing parts, some wrong parts arrived, missing instructions, very poor customer service. New instructions had very little detail - disappointing. Not as easy to assemble as advertised. Original product did arrive timely, looks great when put together. Will test the quality this spring. Would not purchase from this company again.

I purchased an $800+ stone bench to be delivered to me in Florida. The tracking information has informed me that my bench was delivered to someone else in Oklahoma. After 3 calls to customer service, I still don’t have any idea when I will get my order. The 3 customer service reps I’ve spoken with don’t seem to be very interested in getting this situation resolved. I would advise you to shop elsewhere!

Actually phoned up and got the manager late in the afternoon on the East coast (we are in NV) and he took my order quickly. Ordered a 12' bridge with low railings and post for my back yard garden. Pressure treated and unstained as the cost was too much for me. Decided to put on the UV / clear water based protectant myself. Kit was relatively easy to assemble and the instructions were good (though a beginner might have trouble with the spacing of the posts relative to the railing as this was not directly specified). However, I was missing 7 planks on the bridge and notified the service department - they sent the planks promptly on Fed Ex and was able to finish the bridge a few days later. Happy with the quality, response when the company made a mistake, and the overall look of the bridge. Good value for the money, as I didn't have to design and cut and pre-drill all the holes myself. Had professional lighting and landscaping around it so it's a wonderful addition to our backyard. Would recommend these guys again.
