One of the worst companies I have ever dealt with,you call there office for customer support and are put on hold for hours and then they switch you over to technical support and put on hold for another hour and a half before talking to someone who hangs up on you. Called there office about not able to connect to the internet with the service I paid for not working and they do nothing and hang up on you.stay away from consolidated communications they are the worst and I hope they go out of business

Unfortunately, Consolidated is our only option in our town. We have had their service for two months now at our new residence. We lost service on Thursday evening. Called Friday and received at claim number for repair and was told someone would be in touch. We came home from work on Tuesday evening only to find that a "technician" left us a not saying they are sorry they missed us, that if we are still having problems with our Internet to call the number they wrote on this slip. The KICKER is we were NEVER called to set up a time!! My husband works on the same road we live on and could have been there easily if someone would at least let us know they were coming. I mean what type of business does not call or even give you a freaking date if they are coming to your home to repair something INSIDE of the house. We try to call the local number that was written to call if the problem continued. The phone number does not even ring it goes straight to voicemail and we have called multiple times and left a message. I call the 800 number everyday and the same spiel from customer service. You have a ticket number and it's listed as urgent. Here it is the following Thursday and no contact from consolidated. Sure they'll still want my money on time for the days we have been out. We have a middle school student and college student who are not able to get their after school work done. School has started to wonder why we are out of Internet so long. As soon as another company comes into our area I will jump consolidated's joke of a ship and gladly give my money to someone who stands behind their word and customer service and product.

Wi-Fi is a joke......every tech that's been here has said previous tech didn't know what they were doing.......paying for quality that their equipment can't handle or deliver to my house.......why offer it if you can't provide it

Awful connection fix your connection please……. constantly down for no reason been a customer for 8+ years now this is not okay I got the 1 G speed thinking it would be better but its not at all not okay I pay too much for this kind of service!!

My business is going on 4 days without internet now…. No one will come out and fix as they say they’ll try “remotely”. Atrocious customer service for a 15 year customer.

I can't tell you how disappointed I am with Consolidated Communications. I've had them since they bought out Nauticom. 25+ years. I've had the same email for 20+ years. All of a sudden me email goes down and for 2 weeks tech has been trying to recover it. I've been told my address was flagged as inactive and unused. (I use that email every single day for 20+ years). The account has a $70.00 credit so it's not a payment issue. Tech has yet to reestablish my email address and not one person can explain how or why my address, contacts or folders were deleted. It this time I would not recommend ever using them. The joke with Nauticom was calling it the can and string communication company. Consolidated is living up to that joke.

Literally go shut down. Worst company out there. Charges you 100$+ a month for terrible wifi that stops every god dam second. Do your self a favor and never use this company.

I cancelled my service on December 7th, 2022 because the internet signal was so poor and other coverage was finally available in my area. I received an “overdue” bill mid February for service well past my cancellation date. I figured this was probably a technical error and called in. The rep who answered apologized and said she saw my cancellation call from December and she would have her supervisor take care of it. Received another higher overdue statement in March. Now Consolidated “can’t find the call” from December and says there’s no documentation that the prior rep could find the cancellation call. I have wasted hours and hours of my life on the phone numerous times with these incompetent employees. Every supervisor is “unavailable”. No one ever calls back. Each time I call I’m told the problem will be taken care of right away. It is now almost 5 months since I cancelled with Consolidated and I am still receiving bills with no end in sight. I’m sure someone from Consolidated’s PR team will post a generic response to this review to try to pretend like they care and try to save face... don’t bother.

Actually, a zero would be appropriate! If you can use any other service do so! - we were held captive in an apartment complex where they were the only option. Worst cable/Internet company we have ever had! Overpriced, poor connections and even worst customer service. Had to reboot box frequently in a 6-month period.

I can't even tell you how terrible this service is. I wish I could give it 0 stars. We've had a tech come out to the house about 7 or 8 times over the past few years in addition to multiple phone calls. The last tech finally told us they give out junky routers so we purchased a good one and installed it. If we run a connectivity test it shows that we are streaming a small fraction of what we pay for monthly. The lady in customer service was an absolute wench and said they could not provide us with any discount or reimbursement for lack of service provided (we went daaayyysss without internet and just ended up connecting to mobile hot spots on our phones) and we would need to have a technician come out to run the test ANNNDDD "perhaps it was time for us to find a different provider"... so basically back to where we always end up. Unfortunately, this is the only internet provider in our area and at this point I'd rather have no internet than continue to deal with Consolidated's trash service. You can tell their employees know that they are a terrible company and I feel bad they have to deal with ticked off people like me. I don't feel that it is too much to ask for the service I'm paying for monthly. It's starting to strike me as shady business practices. Avoid at all costs!!!

This is the worst cable internet provider there is. Internet runs like dial up oh and goes out for hours on end. Oh and don't bother calling tech service...they won't answer doesnt matter how long you sit on hold. The only way this company can possibly stay in business is because of customers bent over a barrel with them being the only providers in the area. Terrible company if you have choices put this one at the bottom of the list.
