A art gallery and custom frame shop with and eye for quality and perfection! I brought a wonderful piece of music history to be framed and was amazed and totally impressed what they produced for me. Brian made excellent frame and matting suggestions and the end result is a heirloom piece of superb quality and finish. I couldn’t be more thrilled with the Lord Nelson Gallery. If you’re looking to have a prized position frames look no further. Thank you!!

Brian the gallery owner really went out of his way to help me with my projects. I had a print framed and came out really good. I know there are other gallery's in town which I have had experience with and this is by far the best one in town100 % recommended

We live a couple hours away but we've been coming to Lord Nelson's for quite a few years and have never been disappointed. The new location is a little smaller than the previous one but there's still a great selection to view and check out. Can't wait for the "History meets the Arts" starts up again, just one more reason to visit the shop.

I love Lord Nelson’s Gallery and the people who own and work there. I always make it a point to stop in whenever I am in Gettysburg. Philippe, the owner, recently help me get in touch with John Weiss, an artist that specializes in dogs, to paint a painting of my Newfoundland, Autumn. The painting is wonderful, brought her to life. Then he helped me get it framed by Gettysburg Custom Framing. Awesome job! If it wasn’t for Philippe I wouldn’t have really known where to turn. Many, many thanks Philippe!!! I also love the 18th Century and the selection of art work and handcrafted work is outstanding!

The gallery is full of beautiful works of art, whether oil on canvas, prints, or heirloom-quality weapons, cutlery, and other artifacts. Worth a visit, for the history-interested, the collector, the aesthete.

Though I've never purchased anything from here, I feel compelled to write a favorable review for Lord Nelson's Gallery. Here's why: On a recent Saturday, my family and I were visiting Gettysburg from out of state to tour the battlefield, and we needed to kill some time while waiting for our 6:30 pm dinner reservation at a local pub and restaurant. We stepped into Lord Nelson's at 5:45 pm, not realizing that they normally close at 6:00 pm on weekends. We walked around for the next 45 minutes, admiring the amazing American art on display. The staff did not interrupt us, scowl at us, visibly check their watches, or impatiently clear their throats. We even used their restrooms before leaving. We felt so terrible when, upon strolling out of the gallery at 6:25 pm, we noticed the sign with their hours! Needless to say, I am now convinced the staff here are EXTREMELY considerate, and I was also impressed with the quality and interest of the art they had on display. Much of it was based on subject matter chosen from early American settlement, expansion, and (I was pleasantly surprised by this) very vivid portrayals of Native American culture. I plan to return to this gallery soon.
