“Very friendly staff and the housekeepers are amazing. My almost 4 year old slept on the pullout couch and when we got back her bed was made and they tucked in her doll babies.”

“We had a wonderful stay and look forward to returning in the future. We stayed here for our honeymoon, and it was so nice! The home is cozy, clean, and had a delicious breakfast each morning. The hosts are wonderful as well; very knowledgeable about the history of the home, the town, and had great recommendations for things to do and places to eat. We will definitely be back for an anniversary!”

“Absolutely amazing place in a location convenient to everything Gettysburg has to offer. The rooms are beautifully appointed and super comfortable and impeccably maintained. The staff is incredible - so friendly and helpful. The proprietors are on-site and make you feel totally welcome. On-site dining and bar is a plus especially since the food is delicious and the service is awesome. The building is very cool and also historically significant. If you’re lucky enough to find a vacancy you need to book it!”
“A beautiful historical home, in the heart of everything. Our suite was huge and well appointed, extremely comfortable. Huge four poster bed, cleverly hidden kitchenette, spacious seating area.
And tons of atmosphere! Loved the experience!”

“Nice new hotel. Within walking distance of outlet stores and TGI Friday’s. The room was very clean and in good shape. The only issue was there was no bathroom fan, if there was we were not able to find a button for it. They have a nice fitness center and pool. Breakfast buffet was amazing, they had a great selection of everything: eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes, gravy biscuits, cinnamon rolls, cereal…my only complaint was that every day there was sticky juice or something all over the elevators I guess from someone’s unattended feral children but that’s not the hotel’s fault. We will definitely be staying here again when we go to PA.”
“The home of Mary Thompson that Robert E Lee used during the battle of Gettysburg. You will find info about both the battle AND of Mary!
We were finally lucky enough to catch it open. It is only open certain times, so if you see it’s open stop in wander around both the house and the grounds.”
“We had a really nice, relaxing weekend at the Wyndham. We were there in December, so low tourist time. It was quiet and the service was great. We enjoyed two meals at the Oak room.... FABULOUS! Service was top notch there as well. The rooms were comfortable and the beds were great. Some things could use a freshen up, but nothing to take away from your visit. Great for a get away and perhaps a family trip to the area. Highly recommend. Enjoy!”

“Rooms: The room #33 is a great set of rooms for a family with lots of space to spread out in. There's 3 bedrooms and one room has 2 double beds.
Nearby activities: There are so many things to do that are close, you can take your car to explore attractions further out but there's several things right in the area that you can walk to.
Walkability: You can walk to bars and restaurants, to shops and boutiques and there are a couple places that book ghost walking tours within a couple blocks. There are restaurants that have live bands within walking distance (at least on weekends).”
“The hotel is very nice, they have been constantly updating the facilities and remodeling. Was here for a private event and the staff was fantastic. Everyone is friendly and ready to help. The hot breakfast was good. The staff are amazing year over year and treat everyone so well.
