Purchased a firearm from Gettysburg trading post this month. What a great experience! Great selection competitive pricing. Eric walked me through the entire process including applying for tax stamps. He provided great insight and assistance helping me build the project that I had in mind. The the completed project turned out even better than I had anticipated! What a great group of people to work with. I definitely will utilize their services again for my next firearm purchase!

It looks like a decent amount of the customers reviewing The Trading Post, expect to receieve the same reception Julius Caesar received when he returned to Rome after conquering Gaul, when entering the store.
The store is fine. Staffing is fine. Prices are good. Besides firearms, I always find vintage video games priced cheap here. Are they going to give you full market value for your used firearm? No. Do they have to run a business and make a profit to help stay in the black? Yes. (See any episode of Pawn Stars for example)
Negative reviews here are more of an reflection of the type of snooty Suburban Consumer that has flooded the rural, small town area, than it is a reflection of actual staff and store. Check them out.

The Gettysburg trading Post is the biggest con artist scammers in Gettysburg pa I was shopping around for a gun trying to find the best deal they're selling a used gun for $50 more than reading's hardware brand new if you're looking for a gun please go to redding's hardware it's also in Gettysburg and much better will treat you much better

Pretty nice place. I like that they have a little bit of everything; I didn't go around the whole store I just went right up to the counter because I called ahead and I had a mission of buying a specific item but what caught my eye was a bunch of video games and a ton of firearms. I got the best deal I could find for what I was looking for, saved about $60 compared to online sites. There was several girls working who were eating a plate of chips and then immediately handling firearms, they at least should've washed their hands rather than getting Cheetos dust on weapons for sale. But at least they were nice and seemed to be decently knowledgeable. I read several reviews claiming that the employees are rude but I experienced quite the opposite so I don't believe those reviews to be accurate. I had them take a look at something to see if I could do a trade but they only offered me $100 for something I paid $350 for. They at least were honest over the phone saying they have way too many pieces so they did warn me before I came in, but I still feel like that's too low despite the fact. The paperwork didn't take long (it helped that I didn't need to browse) and I was in and out in 20-30 minutes. This is a great place to check out if you're looking to purchase a new or used firearm, they have a wide selection and offer fair prices, although at this time I would recommend that if you're looking to sell a firearm I would shop around with the other stores.

Young gentleman went out of his way to locate a choke adapter for my ts12 to work with salvo 12. Not something they carry but he didn't give up till he was able to find one online.
Every other Gun store told me they don't make them and hung up on me.
