*BEWARE! Pharmacy closes to the second! I was rushing through the front CVS door at 4:59pm. It must have turned 5:00 as I was running to the back as I could hear the gates closing. I desperately asked to pick up my prescription. They said, "We're closed." I looked at my cell. It was still 5:00. My pleading couldn't get them to help me. They said the system "automatically shuts down at closing time and there's nothing they can do". Hmmm. A lady seconds behind me (still 5:00 on my cell) said she had just driven 30 minutes to get her meds. She also said she was switching pharmacies. (Smart lady!) When I picked up the prescription first thing the following morning, I spoke to the pharmacist and he was like...yes, I was here last night; yes, I saw you; yes, we close at closing time on the dot. So, I asked if he cared about customer service or emergencies?? He did say if it was an emergency, he would wait with my while the ambulance came. What??? Is this the type of service CVS Pharmacy offers??? Two stars because my meds were correct. VERY disappointed in the LOW level of customer service.

Store was extremely clean!! Cashier didn’t have Wow factor about his service. While leaving out the security guard greeted me.

This is the worst Pharmacy I have ever used. They are always out of medicine. and never let you know. So if you need something important for your health and go to pick it up after your doctor calls it in. You wait in line for 10 minutes so the clerk can tell you that they are out of that medicine and it may or may not be in tomorrow. And don't waste your time calling. I have called over a dozen times and have been on hold for over 20 to 30 minutes without anyone answering the phone.

Thank you CVS. We were traveling in our RV 1000 miles from home. A prescription came due and I was able to pick it up in Gettysburg.

Been on hold 3 times for 15 min and just hangs up the automated system is rediculous and then music goes on and on then it just hangs up then when they do pick up they hang up so frustrating I just wanted to ask if they would put it together bc I’ll be 30 min drive to pick it up and everytime my doc sends it could even be day or two when I get a chance to pick it up then I’m told it’s a whole nother hour till they get it ready I just want my scripts to be ready and let them know I’ll be coming but I can’t reach anybody there it’s not closed either nor lunch time got ahold of front desk I got I’m so sorry they aren’t answering calls they r busy

Prescriptions are never ready on time, or within an even slightly decent time frame. It takes days, weeks, to get the most basic medications filled. Not sure what has happened the last few months but it’s leading us to finding another pharmacy.

I try to give the benefit of the doubt when I do my reviews but I have had so many issues with this pharmacy on multiple occasions that I no longer can. They never seem to have my prescription ready on time or it’s a hassle just to get it. And while I appreciate that the staff is friendly, the service here is seriously lacking, and at the end of the day I’m there for a service.

Pharmacists are pleasant and helpful, staff for the most part is friendly but the drive-thru is horrible. On numerous occasions I have waited in line for 10- 15 minutes while the car in front of me was being waited on which meant their prescription probably was not done so instead of moving them to the side they have them sit there and wait for their prescription holding up the entire line which is inefficient and inconsiderate. On one occasion I waited 23 minutes for the car in front of me to complete their transaction. Even McDonald's asks you to move to the side so other people can be waited on.

Every 30 days there is a problem with refilling my prescriptions at this CVS. They don't automatically refill your prescriptions due to the high volume of pending prescriptions, so you have to call and wait through the que for 45 minutes to speak to someone in the pharmacy to request they refill your prescription that should have been an automatic refill in the first place. Do yourself a favor and transfer your prescriptions to Rite-Aid, Walmart, or Giant and save yourself some hassle.

The pharmacy and the wait is a joke! Why in the world does it take so long? I called in a prescription last night and this morning at 10:30 it still was not ready. This has been going on way to long!

I have been going to this CVS for a while now and the staff is friendly, but I gave it a 1 because I can not ever get my prescriptions on time like 5-6 days later and they will not answer thier phone. I'm not sure what has been going on for a couple of months, something has to change.

Picked up 2 prescriptions for my husband at 11AM said 3rd would be ready in 20mins. Stop at 735PM not ready would be 15 to 20 minutes. What 7 hours was long enough? Excuse holiday. Why has this happened repeatedly?

This pharmacy went downhill fast. I never had any issues with them for the years I’ve been coming here. The last 3 times I’ve came here has been an absolute nightmare. The staff is nice, other than the “head pharmacist” I don’t know his name as he didn’t even introduce himself, he was more than rude to me. He wouldn’t even look at me as he was talking. Oddly enough; all the other reviews on here are also referring to HIM. Why does he work there? But that’s not even why I’m writing this, I am writing this because the communication here is NON EXISTENT. NONE. GARBAGE. I can’t even begin to explain the three situations I had to dealt with. I’ve had to leave and come so many times to pick up my medication after being told they were ready and weren’t. I’ve even been told to come back at a certain time like HOURS after, and then as SOON AS I LEAVE and am DRIVING home, they send me a text saying it’s ready to be picked up. Poor communication. Imagine having this happen after surgery! Because this is what brought me to write a review!

The employees there are very helpful and the pharmacy always has my prescriptions ready.
