Just a heads up for customers that use GOODRX DISCOUNT!!! corporate has made a decision to discontinue this discount program. How do I know? Picked up my husbands medication that is usually $25 and some change. I was charged $49.99. I mentioned to the lady pharmacist that it is usually $25. I asked, is this because it is a higher quantity? She said, yes it was for 30 days. My husband got home and I told him the cost. He showed me on his GOODRX the correct price!
I called the pharmacy, explained to the Weis pharmacy tech. She proceeded to tell me that it was my responsibility to make sure they are using the correct discount (which this is what we have always used there)because they are busy. I get that, but isn’t it the tech or the pharmacists responsibility to mention or let their customers know that Corporate has discontinued GOODRX?????? Tech poor customer service!!!
Babbled on about this and that and you should blah blah! I asked for a refund for the extra I had paid, was told this was up to the pharmacist!
She says, the pharmacist is busy, I’ll put you on hold. That’s fine. Pharmacist gets on, tells me I heard the tech telling you it’s your responsibility to let us know! The pharmacist is the associate that checked me out, well aware that I have used GOOD RX discount for a few years now! I even questioned to her that it has always been $25. She told me I have not used the GOODRX for a couple months! That explains why the pick up last week was $23 when usually $5! Told me she would refund me this time, that it will be in a box to come pick it up! Gee THANK YOU! How convenient for your customer!
Eric (one of the pharmacist) is always a joy when picking up medications. The techs on the other hand, aren’t very friendly AT ALL, never greet you with a smile! This has put a really bad taste in my husband and I’s mouth about this Weis’s pharmacies, customer service!
So again, for all you GOODRX users, unless you let them know (as they aren’t telling their customers about the discontinued GOODRX) this is what you want to use (the pharmacist stated they will still use but are trying to lessen the usage) you will now be charged under a different discount program costing ALOT more!!
Just Sparing you the unprofessionalism and frustration!
You’re welcome ☺️
After leaving this review, curious to see what others have said in their review, looks like the unfriendly techs is an issue.
I guess corporate doesn’t care that several customers have stated the same issues and customers are still being treated rudely and in an unprofessional way!!!!!!! WOW!

Those pharmacy workers need an attitude adjustment, the phone we received about our scripts was uncalled for. The guy is the only nice one there

I did shop frequently at this store; however, i stopped shopping here as I felt prices were better at other stores. Who doesn’t look for better price today with such high inflation? At that time, shelves were not stocked well but that time frame was some time again. That may not be the case today. The store was always clean and the store personnel were usually friendly.

The ladies who work in the pharmacy usually have an attitude towards me. They just always seem like they're in a bad mood or something. Then there was an issue where I switched insurances and they said they couldn't refill my medications because "my birthday was wrong." I've been coming here for years, so I called my insurance, and my birthday was not wrong. Then Weis Pharmacy gave no aide to helping fix the issue until I had to have my mom call and talk to them because I'm under her insurance. If you're going to work in health care, maybe try being a nicer person or at least have a better attitude when you come to work.

Their customer service helped give this rating. The stores are only good as the customer service. Doesn't say much for the corporation.

Prices are little high but have a variety of items different from other stores. Biggest gripe I had was self-checkout machines. Tells you to place items in baggage area even when item is sitting in bag on carrousel. Also locked up when trying to weigh produce. Lady in front had to have store personnel come 12 times to reset machine. Luckily only had to have her twice. Store personnel nice and helpful but their scanners need a reboot. Hope they can fix them.

Feels much nicer than the corporate ones. Very friendly and I’m treated with dignity. Switching from cvs was easy as asking Weis to transfer all my scripts.

As a former employee of this terrible place, There's a lot to complain about. Number 1, Manager Olivia Dague SUCKS at her job! Ray is no better. The worst here is the new cart pusher (my former job there), is a real dick! I went in today (5/9/2023 @ 1:15PM) Kevin High, cart pusher now because Dickhead Marshall let me go because I wasn't wearing vest to push carts. First he say something (Kevin), I asked What? He rudely says I'm not allowed to talk to you! So in anger, I put my groceries in my car and hurled the cart into an empty handicapped spot and Kevin Cussed me and threatened!!! I asked one of my friends at self-checkout if people were spreading rumors about me, she said not that she knows of. To anyone who lives in or visits Gap, PA, avoid this store at all costs unless you want to get cussed out or threatened.

The pharmacists themselves are very kind and willing to go out of their way to provide support
