It's no different then the rest of the deceptive pricing stores. The shelf price says one thing but when you get to the register it's a lot more then the shelf said. I got scammed a couple of times before I realized that. Quite a few of the states have a class action law suit against Dollar General for the deceptive pricing.

The manager at this particular general, dollar store in Gap PA would not release my package ti me due to a first name only technicality. They never checked my identification for address comparison, nor did they except the QR code that I had to identify this package. Not being able to pick up this package has cost me several hours of phone calls to FedEx to try and find my package. The manager told me it would be sent to my house when instead and it’s being sent back to California. I would never recommend anybody to have their FedEx packages delivered here.Update… I had to drive an hour to go pick up the package

The new DOLLAR GENERAL STORE on Lincoln Highway, N.Versailles,PA is BEAUTIFUL! They recently moved across the street into their own building & it is pristine! Everything is clean,new, shiney,sparkling...even the windows which is very inviting! The aisles are wide & its nice & cool inside, all brand new yellow carts & good parking! The staff is friendly & happy & provide excellent customer service. This new DG store has everything! And the prices are excellent& it is WELL STOCKED! The $1 section is excellent with a big assortment of items + lots of good cleaning stuff! Its bright & cheerful atmosphere was a nice change from the other hot,stuffy,dirty,overcrowded,out of everything,grumpy staffed,YECH stores I had just been in before going to DG! I will skip the others next time! DG had most of what I needed at better prices & a much more pleasant shopping experience. It is EASY to get to, EASY to park, EASY to shop, EASY to check out, & you don't feel WORN OUT from being in a hot stuffy store or MAD because they were out of everything! You feel happy cause it was a NICE place with NICE FRIENDLY SMILING HELPFUL well staffed people who have obviously been trained to be CUSTOMER SERVICE oriented! Very AWESOME place to shop with good prices, good sales,good selection. I love this DOLLAR GENERAL STORE!

I recommend dollar general but not the store I Gap Pa. The general manager is rude to customers and calls customers kids a retard to my son who is autistic. Uses vulgar language and plays vulgar music over the radio system. He’s just rude and arrogant. Go to any dollar general but not the one in Gap Pa.

The store manager and staffing is amazing but the way they overwork their store managers and treat their store managers as well the store manager here works open to close short-staffed and is told to be open from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. without a break they should really learn how to treat their store managers she's a great store manager she takes care of her employees she's very understanding she's so full of yogurt customers but they treat her like a dog.

Everyone seems miserable since the manager left. They used to have fun. I used to like going there but not anymore. Hope she comes back. Also that wasn't the manager that aggressive. That was an employee acting like the manager. I know because I personally know the old manager. She was great
