Galeton Shop 'n Save is a good, small grocery store with a great selection of products for needs while in the mountains. The store carries a lot of items, from store brands to name brands, good for all budgets, and includes locally made maple syrup products and Salt Bread. It features a wonderful deli with the best subs around, a helpful butcher department with country sausage, and a delicious bakery and prepared foods section, including items like cheddar macaroni salad and peanut butter whoopie pies. The staff is super friendly and provides amazing customer service. While the aisles are a little tight and prices can be high, it is a sufficient and convenient store for the area.
Lots of locally processed meats, bakery, and produce. A great variety for a small town store!

I wasn't impressed but I guess for a SMALL grocery store, it was sufficient. Not a lot of name brand items, mostly store brands (although their loaded potato chips are the BOMB)! High prices. It is what it is.

Wonderful grocery store. I especially like the country sausage they make here and every time I come up to God’s Country I call the butcher to get an order pre made. Super friendly staff.
