“Within an hour of posting my review, Van the GM of Retail Operations contacted me and apologized for our experience and offered to do what it would take to keep us as customers. He was on vacation at the time of the events below and was actually investigating at the time I posted my review about 10 days later. We took Van up on his offer and are pleased with the result, we also appreciate Scott's efforts as well.
Our opinion is that our previous experience doesn't align with how Gasper's operates as a whole and we look forward to doing business in the future.

We saw a Christmas tree we liked at the Richboro location but the size we needed was out of stock there but was in stock at the York Road location about 20 minutes away. We drove directly there and purchased the tree. A few minutes later a warehouse employee came around front with our tree and it became immediately obvious that the box had been opened and re-taped a few times and had the word "Display" written on it as well. I went back into the store and informed the saleslady (Jeanie) and she told me "not to worry about it". Scott at Richboro said there were two trees at York Road so I asked to look at the second one and was directed to drive around to the warehouse.
The box of the second "new" tree was worse than the first and was also labelled "display". Inside, the tree was wrapped with dusty red ribbon which shouldn't have been there. I then opened the box of the tree I bought and found the same dusty ribbon on my "new" tree. So back to the sales desk. Besides Jeanie there was an older man with a beard that turned out to be the store manager but I didn't know that the time. I explained that both trees in stock were used and obviously had been part of a holiday display. My impression is that neither of the store employees were a bit concerned that they tried to sell me used merchandise. To make matters worse another employee was brought out to process my refund and wanted me to provide name, address, phone number, etc to process the return. I refused to provide the information and was informed it was store policy. I wonder why it isn't store policy to not sell used merchandise as new. We were visiting our daughter and live about 100 miles from the store, I'm glad I didn't take Jeanie's advice that the beat up old tree was something I shouldn't worry about.

I have worked with Hendrixson’s for furniture purchases as well as custom upholstery needs. Their sales associates are all extremely knowledgeable, professional, customer oriented and overall a pleasure to work with. Hendrixson’s is the only store I will ever use for home furnishing needs.”

“We had an amazing experience at Mattress Firm in Doylestown. This was our second round of purchases from this particular store and the 1st experience was amazing too with their attentive and knowledgeable sales staff. My son and I walked into the store this time and we were immediately greeted by Chris who was ready to help with whatever we needed. Chris was extremely knowledgeable about mattresses in general, about human physiology, what happens to our shoulders and lower back areas when we sleep. He made GREAT recommendations based on what we said our sleeping issues were and encouraged both of us to try every mattress possible to make sure we were fully comfortable with our selections. Chris did this despite the late hour and he never made us feel rushed or that we were asking too many questions. Chris was simply THE BEST. I get the feeling that all Mattress Firm staff at the Doylestown store is this great (our previous salesperson was also amazing) but if you go into the store and see Chris try and grab him!
We are so excited to receive everything which will be delivered in a day so the immediate delivery times are a huge bonus as well. You’ll get excellent service, great expertise and great selections!”

“I have never written a pro or con review in my 73 years. My most recent experience with the employees at Mastroieni & Sons was absolutely amazing. I experienced a problem with a couch I had purchased. Within 2 days of delivery the owner was at my house examining the product and proceeded to resolve the situation. He was pleasant and considerate of satisfying a customer. In all my purchases over all my years I have never experienced a retailer who went out of way to make sure I was satisfied the way Nick and his staff worked to resolve my issue in an expedited fashion. In today's world you simply cannot find any store that does it any better than Mastroieni and I will never go anywhere else for furniture. Steve B”
