Sauces and dried pasta. Canned and bottled drinks. Along with some home decor items and odds and ends.Remember to bring your own bags or boxes to pack up your purchases.”
“Bryce was so much help today! He was so kind and wonderful. You can tell he loves what he does! He made me feel so important I personally believe a raise is needed. He made me feel you understood and appreciated as a costumer here. I will definitely be sure I shop here again just because of this kind soul!! And usually I feel nervous talking to othered but Bryce made me feel comfortable with what ever questions I had. “Great people and nice old school atmosphere. Please be aware the entire structure and business model have changed. They don't sell groceries any longer. Gas is still here but it's clothing and stuff like that. I've not purchased anything other than gas since the change. I cannot answer anything about the changing busy model as of yet.”
“I LOVE LOVE LOVED MY VISIT HERE! I had always gone to the Rte 61 location cuz it was closed to me. Well had I known what I was missing I would have been going to this location all the time! As usual the lunch meat is fresh and great price and a lovely selection of sale items 5 for 5. And also a great selection of just about anything you could want or need in case you're not trying to go do a big grocery store trip! So this will definitely be my new regular weekly store trip.”
“I come from Sacramento in triview area. BGs is one of my favorites as I have many food allergies and intolerances. No dairy, nightshades, grains, gluten, inflammatory foods. So I eat a lot of chickpea flour products, oat, tapioca, and sweet flours and liquids. BGs has many gluten free options for me and my wife. Meats are always quality and good priced. Keep up the great job. Hopefully banza is something you will stock soon.”

“I had to run in on Xmas Eve morning. It was as crowded as you'd expect. This Giant had what I needed for my pies, which was a relief because Aldi, Walmart and Weis had not. The lines were understandably long but moved very quickly and the staff was friendly and efficient, although I think I offended the cart attendant by wishing him a Happy Holidays. His return of MERRY CHRISTMAS felt a little aggressive, although given how busy he was, he may have just been a bit tired and out of sorts. We've moved to the area 4 months ago and I'll definitely shop this Giant again.”
“A HUGE THANK YOU to the sales associate Kimberly at the Shartlesville PA location!! I went in with a $1.01 in my bank account and $8 in my CashApp that I can’t even access lol and all this due to my weekly pay being stopped abruptly and unexpectedly. I asked Kimberly if there was anyway I could transfer the $8 to someone and use it to buy some cans of fruit. She asked what cans of fruit I grabbed 2 and she took $4 out of her own pocket and bought those 2 cans of fruit for me without even thinking twice. Human kindness does still truly exist. I’ve called dollar general corporate headquarters to fill them in on there employee’s selfless actions and hope she can be rewarded someway. It’s people like Kimberly who help me to remain positive and remind me that there still is good in the world even when I’m feeling hopeless since our own government doesn’t even step up when humans are in need especially not without the proper forms!! I’d like to know when paperwork became more important than actual people!!!! If you do stop in at that location please let Kimberly know how much what she did was so above and beyond her job and how absolutely incredible that small act of kindness was. Small side note...while talking to corporate at the end of the conversation I asked if dollar general who is a multi multi multi billion possibly trillion dollar company would be able to in any way maybe help me get a few more food items to get me through until I get my income back and I was told to contact the actual store. I would have thought for sure this huge corporation would have loved to step up and help in my time of need just like there sales associate Kimberly whom by the way I’m only guessing isn’t worth many billions possibly trillions. Sadly I was incorrect and the buck was passed off and was redirected to ask that question elsewhere but will be contacting the district manager of this location to see what she says. Fingers crossed with positive thoughts!!”
“Sadly this location last day u der original ownership was yesterday! Scared what will become of it. Loved brox sel but luckily the other location on 16th n Market will still be open........ Hopefully a very long long time!!!!!! “We were alittle disappointed after we got home and tried their coconut cream pie and their chocolate cream cheese cupcakes. The cupcakes were dry, and their cakes usually moist. We didn't care the meringue on the pie. Would rather it be without the meringue. We usually get their chocolate cake with peanut butter icing...guess we should've stuck with that....very nice owner and staff . We always make a stop there when we come back to Schuylkill county.”
