Staff gets 5 stars especially our man Chris and our girl assistant GM Jacqueline! Entire staff is super friendly, professional and polite including the housekeepers.. They all go out of their way to make you feel welcomed and special. Jacqueline is a super sweet lady who keeps her word,, I'm glad we met her. But the star of the hotel is a fine young gentleman named Chris. His parents raised a fine young gentleman who must be very proud of him. Super nice guy, always upbeat and friendly, courteous and polite, professional, knowledgeable and patient as all heck! Smiling big thinking about his patience! Treated us with such respect. He explained things thoroughly.. And no matter how many times we bothered him, he never wavered.. He was just as polite, friendly, courteous and respectful as he always was. Chris is absolutely an asset and definitely a keeper... Any company would be lucky to have Chris as a part of their team. Truly a remarkable young man and employee!! Thank you to all staff for making our stay a very pleasant one!!Very clean hotel too.. Rooms are veyr clean and smell so pretty when you walk in.. Very welcoming. Housekeeping does a terrific job cleaning. Beds are soft and SO comfortable, it was like sleeping on a cloud! Pillows too were so soft and comy and they actually fit the size of the bed, King size pillows! Great night sleep! Great location and close to major highways, shopping and restaurants. A must stay! Breakfast was very good too and Brandon from room service is also a very nice friendly guy who went out of his way to help us. Barb at the restaurant is also a super friendly woman who actually brought menus up to our room, so we didn't have to come down.. Super nice lady. Then there is the maintenance guy who took the lock off our window for us! Super nice man.. very friendly personality.. and no wait time.. We called downstairs and they literally sent him right up!This hotel definitely knows how to treat and take care of their guests. They make you feel welcomed and special. Great staff! We will definitely be back.. We look forward to it! Great pricing too.. So worth it! We highly recommend this hotel! When you stay at a not so nice hotel it really makes you miss and want to run back to a hotel like the Sheraton where you had such a great experience and stay.

The customer service is hostile, disrespectful and non accommodating to say the least. Their staff on multiple shifts gave conflicting information that made the staff extremely difficult to communicate with. The housekeeping staff is ineffective to say the very least. To refuse servicing of the guest suite unless the guest is unrealistic. Multiple guests during the stay had the same complaint along with housekeeping NOT servicing the room at all!

They overbooked and didn't have the room I reserved. They said they'd comp my stay at a close by hotel but when I got there they hadn't coordinated with them and I did not have a room. The hotel was also very much not nice. I went to 8 different hotel that night around the area in search of one to stay at. Not s good experience. They should have given multiple options of where to stay based on availability and actually have had a room ready for me, even if it meant I had to wait some in their lobby. That would have been better then the 3 hour adventure they sent me on.

Friendly staff. Rooms were all right, but wouldn't label this a 4-star hotel.Rooms: Thin walls and doors. You can hear neighboring room and hallway conversations. Also, excessive road noise if your room faces the road (tractor trailers rumbling by all through the night).

I used to come here often. This property is going down hill.House keeping is none existent as well as management. It used to be a non smoking facility, but the staff during the evening has the lobby smelling of weed smoke. There’s never a manager available anymore. The store is never stocked, just stop at Wawa and save yourself A headache. The night attendant Tee has a welcoming smile, very professional & kind. The only good thing next to free coffee. She went out of her way to make us feel accommodated. She gave us free breakfast & free waters since the club lounge has yet to reopen.Noteworthy details: Stop at Wawa they didn’t have anything in the store the last to visits

Chris was an exceptional front desk attendant! Our check in was a breeze and when we needed extra items for our room, they were brought up to us in a timely fashion. Everything was clean, we had kids that enjoyed the heated pool and overall, had a great stay!

Have stayed at Sheraton Great Valley at least 8 or more times in the last 10 years or more, for various Family events (Celebrations and Funerals) This time was a Funeral... 2nd one since Aug 2023. I have family that has lived in Malvern for decades. This stay, was not anywhere close to par for a Marriott property or Brand. The property has been going downhill the last few years. This past weekend, there was a group that apparently had reserved from what I could tell about 80% of the occupancy last weekend. From the guest rooms, to ball/meeting rooms on the lower level, the business lobby lounge, White Horse Restaurant Area.. ( which looked closed), the Satellite Meeting area. There were Kids from age 6 and up running all over the lobby, riding the elevators (sometimes unaccompanied) up and down the stairwells from Morning to evening. There was not a time coming in and out of the Hotel that this activity was not going on. Except in the Bar Lounge/Eating area and on the 5th Floor. The shelves in the little Market where there was supposed to be snacks and beverages were basically empty of most items. The desk agent told us on Check-in not to worry as the group did not have rooms on the 5th floor and you needed your room key in the elevator to gain access to the 5th floor. It was a mess. My 2nd issue of dissatisfaction as the desk agent on check-out could not process my Marriott E-Gift certificate for $250 that would have covered my stay. She was not trained and needed a manager... who was not on site. Full stay was charged to my credit card. Advised me to call accounting the next day and have them make the adjustment! Staff should be fully trained and able to handle all aspects of a guest needs (especially check in and check out) and a Manager should be on duty 24/7. Needless to say... that will be my last time reserving a stay at Sheraton Great Valley. I proactively filed my complaint with Marriott as I did not receive the usual satisfaction survey that is always sent. (not surprised) Marriott has responded with an apology and passed my complaint to the properties management. (so they said) I just felt the need to do this review as well.

Overall we rate the hotel a 4/5. The rooms were nice. The bathrooms are ok there was peeling paint in the bath tub and mold around the handle and faucet, along with a huge crack around the faucet. I did enjoy the pool and hot tub I do wish they were both hotter. I would stay again.

We will never stay here again. We booked a room on the club level to have access to the lounge. The lounge was closed. Does not state this anywhere on the website. So essentially we paid an extra $100 a night for a room, for absolutely nothing. The front desk "manager" was completely incompetent. We were offered "free water" like we never stayed on the club level before and didn't know all the extras available in the lounge. We were also offered their $18 continental breakfast to somehow make up for this as well. A breakfast that would be free anywhere else. The muffins were rock hard. The apple juice tasted like paint thinner. Which the department of health should look into. Considering it's not a continental breakfast it should be monitored by them. Our Marriot rewards couldn't be used because of a system issue. The complaints about the pool (we read after our check in issues) we decided not even to bother going there. Bottom line, this hotel use to be nice idk what happened over the last two years but we will be looking for a new hotel in the area to book at next time. Never again would I consider this hotel, id sleep in my car before I had to stay here. Oh and the rooms no bed bug covers, the jets in the tub were absolutely disgusting. The stains on the headboards, blankets, floor, chair, made it seem more like a rent by the hour motel.

Worth the price. But what we thought was a hot tub in the pictures is actually just a bubble pool, we were a bit disappointed.

We had a two night stay for a wedding across the street. The location can't be beat, two minute shuttle ride to the venue. Lots of businesses along this main road for food, pharmacy, etc. Our room, 228, needs an update. Makeup mirror barely attached in the bathroom, towel rack inside the shower is ready to fall off the wall, no soap in shower dispenser, our bed was so bouncy it felt like a trampoline and our cable box wouldn't work. This was replaced promptly. The tub is a replacement tub liner and very slippery. The tub stopper didn't work so only able to shower. The tile floor inside the door is too high and the bottom of the door scrapes it every time its opened, making a loud noise. We had 3 key cards and had to replace one due to becoming deactivated. Before we left we only had one working card, so in all, 3 became deactivated during our two days. The parking is tight but there is an overflow lot below the main entrance lot. Free coffee in the lobby in the morning is nice as is the fireplace and chairs. Not sure who decorated the Christmas tree but it's almost comical in its decor, like a child threw a string of clear lights on and a string of colored lights, like literally thrown on, oddly placed. Lol. This has the potential to be a very nice hotel both in accommodations and location with some updates.
