This place is really great. Beds comfortable and clean. Rooms very nice. Bathrooms had a great shower w/ built in shampoo/conditioner pumps. Breakfast/coffee was excellent. One the best hotels I've ever stayed in.

I'm not even sure how to sufficiently express my gratitude to Jamie, Melissa, Jen, housekeeping, management and the incredible ecclesiastical leader from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Our car broke down 7 hours from our home and we were towed (thanks to Andrew as well) to this Holiday Inn Express. We were able to book a room for the night while we prayed to know what to do. All of the incredible staff helped us to have a place that we needed while we were blessed by the abundantly generous help from the ecclesiastical leader from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints who helped us fix our car on Sunday when everything was closed. They were the good Samaritans on our journey home who we are eternally grateful for. They were the miraculous and merciful answer to our prayers. Thank you, thank you, thank you. God bless each and everyone one of you?♥️?

I find your reply hard to believe. When I booked the room through central reservation I was told that I was being upgraded to a suite due to hotel availability. Your reply stated you were booked at 90% for weeks? Not sure who's telling the truth? You did not address your ridiculously high price ? I also left out the fact that there was no food at the breakfast buffet at 0730? The breakfast area was not crowded so there was no excuse for the lack of food.As a diamond elite member I am very disappointed. I was given a room on the first floor where construction is going on? D. E. members are suppose to be upgraded to the best room if available. The hotel is not fully occupied by the looks if the parking lot. $200.00 a night is ridiculous, we are not in downtown Manhattan. Not a location I would recommend.

Under construction- would have like to have known that from the start. Had to be moved to another room after we had already unpacked per mgmt due to issues with the room. I’m sure it will be nice when it’s done and staff was very friendly.

Hotel under construction. Smells like paint and glue. Plus very loud saws starting at 8AM. Not good!! We should have been told prior to completing our reservation!!! Not happy!!!

Located behind Cracker Barrel, this hotel seemed like a nice option close to Shenandoah and Pottsville. As of July 2023, current construction meant sledgehammers, jackhammers, and constant extremely loud music was the reality. Until upgrades are complete, don’t expect sleep, working facilities, available hot breakfast, consistent access to fitness center or pool. Call about construction timeline before booking.

Stayed here ro get some sleep on a long road trip. Jamie & Susan at the front desk were so friendly & welcoming. The room was clean seemed updated & the bed was comfy although one side of the bed was too close to AC unit. The free breakfast had a good assortment of items & the woman overseeingiit (sorry didn't get her name) was very friendly. The location is a bit odd to get to from the highway but it is behind a Cracker Barrel restaurant for those that may want lunch or dinner.

Odd seeing posts about dated rooms. Our room was fine with a super comfortable bed. Everything was very clean and the bathroom was in great condition. The front desk clerk at check in was super nice and hospitable. She was even able to discount our rate with some "walk up" special. Loved there was plenty of room in an adjoining parking lot to park our truck and 12' trailer and given a front facing room to easily check on our truck. The continental breakfast was great. We have enjoyed all our stays at every Holiday Inn Express. The 2 things I did not like... 1- the road condition leading up the the hotel. 2 - there was another lady standing there with the grumpiest look on her face as the other clerk checked us in. I don't know what purpose she served but I almost told my wife we could find another spot because of the way the lady was looking at us. Glad we stayed but that lady needs to chill with the resting B-face.

Okay hotel in dire need of a renovation! Conveniently located behind a Cracker Barrel! Hotel was clean and service acceptable. Typical hotel build where your walls shake when the elephant in the room above you walks around!Breakfast was okay, but promptly shut down at 9:30am. I don't mean they start cleaning up at 9:30am, everything was GONE at 9:30am! Would stay again!

Room rates are very high for a run down old Holiday Inn Express!I might need to rethink stopping at Holiday Inn Express from now on. Not a very pleasant stay.

If you care at all about your health and COVID during this time of the pandemic, then be forewarned: This hotel does NOTHING WHATSOEVER to make sure that guests wear masks anywhere in the hotel. That includes all common areas. There are no signs encouraging social distancing and no signs telling people to mask up for their safety. The only people (besides ourselves) whom we saw wearing masks during this stay were the front desk employees. To Holiday Inn, at this time of an out-of-control COVID epidemic, I simply say this: SHAME ON YOU for putting profits above safety and health!!As for our room itself, it was spacious, clean, comfortable, and quiet. It was also very expensive, even by the usually-bloated prices that the hotels in/near Frackville charge. Both check-in and check-out were easy and efficient; and the front desk staff members were friendly.Seriously, though, this place does ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to keep its guests safe from COVID.

Rates are double what they should be for the 'experience' of staying here. No coffee until 5 a.m., which doesn't help those who leave before that time. Front door was locked when we tried to leave. The night clerk had to let us out. We wondered what would happen should there be a fire!?. Numerous shady characters that appear to be full-timers? Avoid this place!
