Marge is the ABSOLUTE BEST! I arrived at the nursery “clueless” with a ton of Pinterest photos as inspiration - Marge educated me on optimal planting location (s) throughout my property, plant variety based on my sun conditions, and virtually designed my front yard … literally calculated the amount of shrubs I would require !!! With each visit, she embraced me with kindness and patience. I look forward to returning time and time again! From the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU Highland Hill ?

Jamie went above and beyond with planting all my trees and was so knowledgeable with everything he suggested. Prices were better than anywhere around and he even put in a watering system so I didn’t have to carry cans to water everything at the back of my property. A nice, nice person and I highly recommend.

Bill, Marge, Mike and Aaron were very helpful in helping me buy a maple tree, Autumn Blaze, to replace a very old maple that went down in a storm this summer. They are all very knowledgeable and professional. I highly recommend. Thank you.

Don't believe their advertising or sub contractors when they say Arborvitaes are deer resistant. They're not. The moment snow falls deer will eat up the Arborvitaes like a snack.

When we showed up at the Nursery to browse for plants the owner was right there to help with selection and also what plants would look good together. Amazing customer service and over all very very nice staff. I had showed Interest in the Plants and how to grow them and they taught me all of the bits and pieces of how to grow trees. really love the place and overall best selection for plants and nicest staff i have ever met.

We’ve been listening to Marge Hirst’s landscaping advice for over 25+ years and she’s never steered us wrong- this lady knows the products her family sells - the light exposure and ground moisture each tree or shrub will need to thrive!

I am having problems with my green giants and I stumbled on a video by Highland hills farms. So I called and was lucky enough to talk to Bill about my trees. He was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful! He took the time to listen to my concerns and then tell me what was going on with my trees and how to help them. Most people are not interested in talking to you unless your buying from them; but these guys understand how to build relationships and are there to help. I can't thank or recommend them enough! I will be making a trip out to their farm for my future planting need. Thanks Bill!

I once stopped by chance, but now I go out of my way to keep going back. The business is run by a hard working family that are all a wealth of knowledge. They are very fair with their pricing and will help you find the right tree or scrub.

Great place to buy reasonable priced trees, bushes, grasses, etc....Bill and his wife (the owners) and their guys who help out are exceptional. They go out of their way to help you with any and all information you could possibly want to know about what they have and how to keep it growing. We don't go anywhere else. He is a wholesaler but also retail. Try them out, you won't be disappointed!

Let me tell you a little bit about Highland Hill Farms. I’ve been buying trees from these guys for a long time for a variety of reasons. It’s not just the quality of their products and diversity of selection that keeps me coming back. It is because they are the nicest most honorable people I’ve met in their business. I just recently bought a willow from them. Not long after installing a significant part of the trunk broke off while I was pruning. After discussing the situation with them—shortly there after and free of charge—they re-installed another weeping willow because they did not want me to be unhappy and have to worry about this tree down the road. It is for this reason that I am a groupie of Highland Hill Farms. Customer for life.
