John is amazing!
I broke down on a Saturday and he went out of his way and got me fixed and back on the road the next day. Even though it was a Sunday!
He also solved problems my local mechanics couldn't figure out!!
Highly recommend!!!!!

I needed an inspection badly as I was past due. I live in the area so I decided to go to Paul's garage after my mechanic for 8 years moved to the otherside of town. After reading the reviews on google giving this place 4.5stars I figured yes why not. I should've went across town. I dropped my car off to the shop 9am this morning... I really shouldve walked away after hearing dude with tattoos loudly yell SMD ( SUCK HIS ...) But nope, I let them keep my car. They called me later and said I needed new brake pads.. not rotters just pads.. which retail in the store as 85.00.. okay sure plus the inspection I am thinking uhh about 250 for the work cause at dealership thats what I was quoted.. I should've went to my old mechanic across town.. cause my windows are tinted the dealership will not pass me on inspection so I didnt go to them either. Paul's garage says my total is 320.00... for brake pads? Wtf labor cost is 200.00 bruh really? Then says cash only otherwise it is more money.. uhhhhh you're a legit business sir? Does the IRS know you take cash only? Come on! So I pay them the 320.00 get in my car in the pouring rain and as I am driving I hydroplane into the intersection guess what NO FUCKING BRAKES!!! I almost loss my fucking life. I return to the garage because my brakes hit the floor. These idiots never released the air in the brake line so I had no brakes. They also never test drove the car either to make sure it worked. And ALL I got was a sorry.. Sorry?? Are you fucking serious? You almost killed me and all you say is sorry. Be fucking for real. So they then say, I don't think the guys tested them out before giving back your car.. Again what? Are you serious? You're a mechanic, you repair cars everyday how the hell do you forget something so important? No, it is because I am a woman that you thought you could get away with this. HOW AUDACIOUS of you. I will never go here again. I rather stand outside with an umberlla in a storm like today before I ever support these crooks. Whoever the owner is you better hire better staff. This batch is trash.

This establishment is horrible. Since my gas gauge wasn't working, I asked him to check the installation of a in-tank fuel pump. He returned my car and said everything was fine. Turns out, he never inspected the installation. I went somewhere else and they said the fuel pump wires / float was damaged. They changed my fuel pump and now my gas gauge is working. So, he said he inspected the fuel pump float said it was fine, but really did nothing. Four hundred bills up in smoke. I became suspicious when he said my exhaust manifolds was in need of replacement. I worked on cars as a hobby, who did he think he was talking too? This guy, John the owner of Paul's Garage, is a crook. And not even a good one. He kept my car long enough to give the impression he was doing the work!!!Service: General repairs & maintenance

Sub standard work, just went in for inspection. Ended up costing me 560 bucks after he told me 4 flat. Then he asked for cash after I told him I was going to used my card. Now after all this , I never told him I was a mechanic. So, I know he way over charged for parts and the work sucked. He didn't even balance the 2 tires he replaced. A week later I did an oil change and went over my truck. My air intake was taken apart and laying in my engine compartment, the old valve stems were still on the tires, there was a broken exhaust clamp, loose pipe and leak, and finally, a broken end link. This was never inspected. This guy just picked a couple things to charge me for. Shady shop. I almost took it back for a tune up, glad I checked it over first.Services: Steering & suspension repair

John saved our bacon! We were on a 3000-mile, 22-day road trip when we got a bolt in our tire, leading to a slow leak. We were scheduled to depart the next morning, but knew we needed help immediately to have that happen. We had done business with Paul's Garage when we lived in Center Valley, so we called there. Paul was no longer the owner, but John, the new owner, immediately helped us out, even though we were total strangers to him. We got the car to him late afternoon just before closing, and he got it back to us first thing the next morning. This means he had to work us into an already busy schedule. He was so nice about it, and he charged us an extraordinarily minimal amount for the repair. If we still lived in the Lehigh Valley, we would be going to Paul's again. These guys are bad auto mechanics from start to finish. I went there 3 times with 2 different cars and all these times where just bad experiences, so after the 3rd time I said enough is enough. Johnathan is very friendly and sympathetic but unfortunately him and his team don't know much about cars.
