I stayed here a few years ago and gave my reviews of the hotel back then. The owners paid to have my review of them removed from TripAdvisor. I still stand by my review back then, it was not a clean or good hotel to stay in. Maybe with the new renovations things will change.

This hotel has been closed due to flooding from a storm in 2021. There is no indication on the hotel website of the closure other than the rooms are all "sold out" for current/future dates - the poor communication is unacceptable and the fact that the hotel has been an eyesore for years also is unacceptable. It does look like they are finally working on cleaning up the hotel but I'm sure after 2+ years, it requires a lot of work.

This was my first time staying at this hotel. Comfortable and spacious rooms with all the amenities.Parking on premises, a spacious area to have breakfast with plenty of options.I definitely recommend this hotel if you are ever in the area.

We have a wedding block at this hotel for this coming August 2022. No one from the Hilton has contacted us about what is going on. We have called the Hilton customer service line multiple times and have received no answers on if this hotel will be reopening. Very very poor communication. We just want answers, but no one seems to have any.

Worst experience at a hotel. To start, I reserved my room through Expedia and I was double charged upon arrival. The general manager assured us that we would get our money back after we called to inform them regarding the issue. Now, I have left voicemails without any response because we have not received our money back from being double charged and they are avoiding our phone calls. Also, on the first night there, the night that our friend got married, the receptionist attempted to fight the groom of the wedding. The hotel overbooked and gave away the groom's families rooms. Upon the groom getting frustrated with the receptionist, the receptionist stepped up from behind the counter and told the groom that they could take it outside.Next, on the second night, there was loud music from the courtyard late at night. WE called the front desk multiple times to complain and request that they ask the group to turn the music down. Instead, every time we called the front desk they pretended like it was the first time anyone has called them about the music despite the same receptionist answering each time. Finally, after we called the front desk 4 times we called the police to file a noice complaint.

First of the resort looks good but the front desk staff hospitality skills are poor! The janitors were better at giving advice on problems. I stayed at Hilton garden inn for 3 nights July 30-august 2. Works do not wear masks other than the janitors! Imagine chefs breathing over your food in a pandemic. I guess that’s why I didn’t enjoy the breakfast.

There were hair shavings that weren't fully cleaned up in the bathroom when we first arrived, food left in the microwave that wasn't cleaned out, and the experience with customer service when dealing with a double charge on the room. Melvin and Billy were not helpful, they would reassure us that the refund was happening and that we were "next in line" to receive a refund. Would recommend finding another place to stay at.

The rooms are clean and premises are kept clean, too. Hotel is kinda overrated! Pool is closed during the summer, AC’s makes loud noises that wake you out of your sleep, the curtains that are in the room to keep the room dark are useless - so even if you intend on sleeping in you can’t because the light seeps through.

I stayed for 5 nights in April 2021.Obviously with covid I didn't expect housekeeping to be normal but by my third night I still didn't receive housekeeping. I went down to the front desk to ask about it and the lady there was incredibly rude. 1. She was not wearing a mask and didn't even bother putting one on while I was talking to her. 2. She gave me an attitude when I asked about housekeeping. She kept saying "EVERYONE" receives this paper when checking in that says housekeeping needs to be requested 24hrs in advance. When I told her I didn't receive one she again emphasized that everyone should have received one. I got annoyed by the 3rd time she repeated this and I told her she could check the cameras if she wanted to but I did not receive a piece of paper with the info. That interaction left such a bad impression on me. Considering this is a Hilton I expected better.

My husband and I were guests at your establishment (Hilton Gardens Ft. Washington PA) this past weekend, and I must inform you that it was the most unpleasant experience we've ever had at a Hilton owned property. The check-in process was fine, however; we arrived to our room (627) to discover a foul smell in the bathroom. It was certainly the odor of rotting eggs coming from the sink and toilet. This was most likely a drainage issue. We alerted the front desk immediately, and requested a new room. The woman at the desk informed us that someone would come and clean the bathroom. We were heading out for a wedding rehearsal and informed her we would be out of the room, so that was fine. To our knowledge, no one came and there was no follow-up to the concern. The next morning (Saturday), we noticed the smell was still there and seemed to present itself when the toilet was flushed or the sink was turned on. In an attempt to get ready for the wedding, I attempted to take a shower. I noticed the water pressure was lower than the day before, but I proceeded anyway. All of a sudden, the water shut off completely. I made several attempts to turn the water back on, but to no avail. My husband called the front desk and we were informed that a call will be placed to maintenance. The water continued to come on and off throughout our time of preparation. This was extremely frustrating. We also recognized that no one from housekeeping came to clean the room on Saturday, nor were fresh towels provided, or trash cans emptied. There was no door hanger on the door to state we did not want housekeeping. There was no door hanger at all on either side of the door.Saturday evening, after returning from the wedding, there was very loud music playing from the very last room on our left, facing our room. The time was after 10pm and we ignored it, hoping it would end by 11pm. The loud music, followed by the smell of marijuana continued until 2am.I am a loyal customer of Hilton; I am loyal to the brand. I do my best to always find a Hilton owned property when I travel and this weekend was a huge disappointment. I spent close to $400 to be aggravated, disappointed, and annoyed for an entire weekend. As an event planner, there was plenty of stress for me to ensure my clients had a memorable event. The stay at the Hilton Gardens this weekend made my job extremely challenging.I'm still waiting for a response from the General Manager.

Communication for a hotel block for my wedding was very poor. Unfortunately for the hotel, they were the victims of major flooding in Fall 2021. There was no communication from the hotel for 1 week regarding their closure. (They are still closed months later) At the last minute, my guests and I had to find new hotel arrangements. Each guest had to contact Hilton to cancel their reservation(s). This ended up being a blessing in disguise because I since then heard how dirty this hotel was pre-flood. For future brides, The Holiday Inn Express down the street was very easy to work with. Somehow they didn't suffer any damages from the same storm.

Check in was at 3. My husband and I showed up at 4 and were told our room was not ready because there were too many early check-ins (this had nothing to do with us or our stay). We had to leave for a wedding at about 5 so luckily friends lent us their room and key at 4:30 so we could change. I told the women at the desk where we were going and confirmed a contact number. When we returned at 4:45 and checked for information, both women at the desk were outraged because they had been yelling my name across the lobby (there were dozens of other couples without rooms). I reminded the women that I told them where I was going and confirmed my number and they announced to myself and the lobby that they were under no obligation to call about rooms, we needed to be in the lobby to get our rooms. At 5:10 we could not wait any longer so I informed the desk that we would now be a late check because we did not want to be late for the wedding. The woman at the desk replied that our room was finally ready. This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced from a Hilton hotel.
