John, what you were able to do for my Souderton Varsity Lax team this winter was immeasurable. I use this word because, as it turns out, we cannot measure the value of being stronger AND more flexible on the field right now. But is everything lost? No. We may not be measured on the field right now, but its not like we went without competition within ourselves. The mental training and discipline you provided these last 6 months made all the difference in them, and was more than I asked or expected. But that's you John. THAT, is what people and players need, the want and the why, to be reinforced and proven. It is what we all crave in most cases...but its so hard to find in life. My guys eventually came to believe in your ways and became better for it. Together as new coaches, we have proven that change, while resisted at first, can ultimately be the best thing that ever happened to them, and us. I can't wait until we can do it again.

I met John in person in early February 2019 though I had been following Bair Knuckle Strength on Facebook for months. I enjoyed the videos and personal posts. John was very accommodating in arranging a meeting and offered advice and encouragement with absolutely no pressure to join. I have worked with John online. I am a fitness n*** (spend almost as much time learning about fitness as doing it) and could recognize immediately that John knows what he is talking about. He had some great, practical, helpful suggestions and a program I could begin on my own to repair my rotator cuff. A Dr. had brought me in to introduce me to Bair Knuckles. I could not get through a day without pain in my back and neck because iIt was interfering with my daily activities. After realizing doing "Nothing" was not improving my pain, I decided to give it a try. John evaluated my pain and movements and within 3 month of staying loyal to the routine and the personalized attention to my workout, I was amazingly getting better. Having the classes small enough to be viewed as to how I was working out was a big factor in not slipping incorrectly into my routine. I now am able to return into a pain free lifestyle. Don't be intimidated or scared that this is not for you....it is individualized & paced according to your needs and condition. The people and friends in the classes are all their for a reason...get better and strengthen the areas that are causing their pain! There is no reason to settle for chronic pain!

I started training with John at Bair Knuckle Strength in order to prepare for my sfg kettlebell cert. I came in for a free trial and was blown away by the amount of detailed, practical instruction John gave me to improve my swing. I've been training for a couple months now and I'm really happy with the improvements I've seen. John has been able to spot what I need to work on and help me focus on improving these areas while also increasing my general strength and technical proficiency with all of the required lifts for the sfg. There is also the added benefit of learning how to teach and cue the exercises. I am a personal trainer myself, and each session with John is not only a workout but also a clinic in how to effectively communicate the mechanics of the techniques we're practicing, as well as how to structure each session so it ties into my long term goals. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend training here regardless of your goals or current fitness level. You will feel welcome from the very first session, and you will not only see the results you want but develop an in depth understanding of how and why you're seeing them.

As a single dad, I had spent several years focusing on work and taking care of my kids. I let my health go to an embarrassing extent, and when I tried to exercise I had tried to do what I had done when I was a teen. It didn’t work and made me sore, and I could not be consistent with it.
