UPDATE 8/19/24
Well it turns out it's leaking from the water pump so now that needs to be replaced. There is a lot of white residue around so it shows it has been leaking for a long time!!!!
UPDATE 7/17/24
It over heated after driving 3 block had to wait an hour before it would start again!! Got it Home checked the fluid it was entirely filled with water!! NOT A DROP OF ANTIFREEZE!!! Just finished flushing system in 95 degree temp. Added proper mixture lets see what happens!!
This Trax was the biggest mistake of my life!! I should have known better!!
UPDATE 6/19/24
Blower motor resistor melted replaced 5 times. This time I replaced blower motor as well burnt out after 5 mins. On top of everything else now I have no AC in 95 degree weather!

They make it look on here that they reach out and try to help! But in reality. I called like I was told left multiple messages and no one ever called back!@!!
Month later and now I am getting P0299 under-boost error! Brakes are sporadically grinding! Car is now parked till I get the brakes checked out. Also forgot to mention I had a parking light out didn't think it was a big deal till yesterday! Found out the whole bumper has to be removed to take out the light assembly to change the dam bulb!!!
I saw a review on here that was the same situation as I had. Was told they had a $6k available. Wouldn't you know it was sold when I got there!
The 2020 Trax was the third option that worked. I know I was informed the accident I accepted that. (regretting it now) Carfax shows the accident, shows damage again 2 years later and the car was repossessed. Owner abused this car! I feel like this was a bait and switch :(
What I have found so far!
Heater Blower doesn't work in 4th position (replaced part three times)
02 sensor Error Code
Radio doesn't shut off, drains battery
Passenger side door lock switch missing
The door lock switch panel broken
Even though seats were shampooed the are still filthy with cigerette burns.
Glove box in trunk missing
A seatbelt is broken
The longer I have this car the more I am finding wrong with it. I was suppose to get my car on a Monday, Didn't get it until the following week. I was told by Jennifer and Joe the reason it was delayed was because they were waiting for new tires to come in for my car. Jen told me they changed the tires and replacing the seat belt to pass inspection! Well I went to my mechanic with a flat tire, he told me the rear tires were so worn that they will not pass inspection!! I was told so many stories when buying this car I feel like this was a bait and switch. Also I ordered a new cargo cover for it because the old one is missing. I went to install it today and the hooks on the hatch to connect the ropes to are completely missing just holes where they were suppose to go. There are so many missing or broken parts on this car! I am mostly pissed about being lied to about the new tires!
Jen stopped working there a week after she sold me the car!!
They stopped answering my emails the day the financing finalized!

A huge shout out to the service department! My 2019 Corvette needed 4 tires and an alignment. Not only did they beat the price of many other competitors but they were also able to perform the alignment. Tires were ordered and installed promptly. Every person I had contact with was amazing. Friendly people, but high interest if credit is under good, but can always refinance, great chance of getting approved for the vehicle you want as long as you can afford it and have paystub to prove it. All in all my experience was pleasant.

This dealer added a $4500 warranty to the sale without letting me know I caught it when the bill of sale was finally presented the price you see on the website is reduced to get you in the store and they promised 2 new tires which did not arrive in time of the delivery so I was offered $244 dollars towards the new tires which we all know is not sufficient for the tires for the vehicle. Car dealers always trying to get over they will have to the authorities because I will be reporting them to Better Business Bureau

Joe my salesperson was amazing and honest! I have horrible credit, decided when I had a car to work on my credit. Didn't except a hit and run in the future resulting my car getting totaled. I honestly didn't except much or even leave with a car. I needed to get into something. They were able to work with me and my 400 credit. I was able to leave the lot with a Tesla Model 3. Thank you all at Hornbeck Chevrolet! :) What you hear on the radio ain't a lie they really work with all types of credit!

I couldn’t be happier to have found this dealership. I had a vehicle that was 15 years old, and it was time for a new one, but my credit is not the best at the moment. Nobody would finance me. I kept hearing the advertisements about the dealership and said, "Let me take a chance." Well, let me tell you, I couldn’t be happier. The process was pleasant, fast, and easy. They found a bank to finance me, and I found my dream car. I worked with Rory, Joe, Dennis, Brianna. I’ve always hated the process of buying a car due to the length of time it takes, and it isn’t usually pleasant. With these people, it was a blast. They made my experience amazing. I was able to make an appointment easily,got there met AJ my salesman, at first i thought my dreams were shattered when AJ said bad news to the cheap car i was looking at. The lender wouldnt finance a car. But he was able to get me what i actually wanted to start with and all within 2 hours I'm the proud owner of a new pre-owned Hyundai Tucson.
