“I just had my car inspected at Wynnewood Park. They always do an excellent job. What I'm writing about is there upfront pricing. I need tires. Dennis gave me a quote. When you normally get quotes it just includes the price of the item. Dennis quote included everything, tire installation and balancing. So I was surprised when I got my bill. It was less than expected.”

I took my BMW x3 in for an inspection and oil change. Kevin was very genuine and knowledgeable. Didn’t rush my questions and made sure I understood everything. He texted me a link to download my complete detailed bill BEFORE any work was completed. He was transparent about what was required to pass inspection vs recommended. There was only ONE service recommended. Attention to details is important to me. My car was returned with all notifications cleared and my lights back on auto. Everyone forgets that.”

“I had such a lovely experience at Phil’s! I got my oil changed at a separate Philly garage and they diagnosed my car with a ton of issues and gave me a super high quote for them — they were quite pushy for me to get the services done then and there, despite the high cost being out of my budget then. It left me with a bad feeling so I went to Phil’s for a second look. He easily could’ve sold me on the same scam diagnosis, but instead thoroughly and thoughtfully checked out my car and pointed to where the first estimate was off. I appreciated his honesty and transparency — he took photos of everything as my car was serviced and even helped walk me through a few parts once it was complete. I will definitely be back!”

“After a very disappointing (aka outrageous) quote from my VW dealership, I took my car to Bram at PA Tire & Auto in Ardmore. It was an excellent decision because I was treated kindly, fairly, and communicated with about all decisions. They were able to take my car in and turn it back over to me extremely fast. My neighbor who is a car mechanic later shared that they do great work and treat people fairly which was very reassuring. “When I tell you this is a top notch business I mean it. We broke down on our way to a wedding, we called desperate for someone to see our car. Denise was so kind and let us come over. They checked out our car and told us where eat and have a beer while we waited. They fixed our old car for a reasonable price and on time. They told us an hour and a half and it was just under 90 minutes. Finding a mechanic that keeps its word in this day and age is rare. We wish we were locals or they were closer to us. If we ever have car problems in the Philadelphia area we will only go to MacGarrigle.”

“Never write reviews, but just wanted to acknowledge the good people that work at Phil's shop. I brought my car in to have an inspection and a mirror replaced, which they did a great job with. I especially appreciate the transparency/efficiency with their phone/email follow up and digital quotes. After my car was repaired, it was parked on the street for me to pick up that afternoon. In that brief time, the car was hit by a truck that drove away (a rare but standard risk for any shop that doesn't have a lot to park cars under their care). Phil's team was extremely professional about the situation, filed a hit&run report, and took care of the subsequent repairs without any fuss. I think a lot of shop owners would have tried to deflect the responsibility, but they were really calm and easy to work with in a stressful situation. They are trustworthy, good-hearted people.”
