βI happened to be in the area of the 3400 block of Sansom Street today in West Philadelphia and a familiar sign caught my eye from 22 years ago; Avril 50. Avril 50 was a regular stop in my patrol days and I loved walking into the shop. Always the wonderful aroma of brewing coffees and chocolate dancing with other exotic smells and the smells of fine papers and magazines. It always felt to me like stepping from West Philadelphia into a magical pocket of Europe. As it looked exactly the same, I wondered if anything had changed in the past 22 years and as soon as I crossed the threshold, I found that it was the same - like stepping back 22 years, yet somehow I was that much older. The proprietor was still there, still the same and looking no different - something that confirmed my belief that this was a magical and wonderful pocket paradise tucked away on a small West Philadelphia street. A brief catch-up chat, a shopping bag of fine teas and a perfectly brewed double-espresso to takeaway later; I stepped back into the bright Fall sun of West Philadelphia. I found myself smiling as I sipped the espresso, happy that one of the best things for me in that neighborhood has remained unchanged for others to enjoy and to continue to discover. It will not be another 22 years before I make my way back - that is for certain.β
βI can speak to using their online service. Very prompt, amazing customer service. Package arrived pristine, expertly organized and wrapped and selection of sticks seems like they were expertly chosen rather than thrown in the box. Personable service for an online transaction. I can only imagine how it would be in person. Highly recommend.β

βGood selection of cigars. If your new and donβt know where to start, I would recommend this shop 8 out of 10 times, depending on the buyer. The store clerk was welcoming (I say this because a lot of old timers, look at you like what are you doing here youngin), and happy to help.β
βTHIS PLACE IS ABSOLUTELY THE BEST!!I live in upstate NY and unfortunately I have someone in a recovery facility about 10 miles away from this Shoppe. I needed to somehow get some vapes to my loved one as theyβre no longer allowed to be shipped via any source. I called and without hesitation was assured by an incredible man named Setty who said that he would help me and also deliver it to the facility immediately. I have got to say this man went above and beyond for me without anything but positive and heartfelt feeling for my situation. If you live in this area and would even consider giving anyone other than this store your business it would be your loss. This is one fine human being. Greatest business and people ever! βMy dad and I have been coming in for a smoke and some old fashions. The guys behind the counter are really cool and professional, makes the experience even better and more comfortable. The cigar selection is great! And the old fashions are fabulous. We tried to make our own at home but canβt compare them. Excellent work fellas see yas this weekend.β

βI was driving back from WC and noticed the sign. I pulled in and saw the lights were out and by chance Prasad saw me in his cameras and opened his door. It was about closing time. He turned the lights on so I could get some beer. He had shut the systems (as anyone would do close to closing) so I said hey letβs do Venmo and we chatted while I brought it up on my phone and had some laughs. Truly an awesome guy. He couldβve easily said weβre closed and I wouldβve been on my way. The store is huge and has a ton of domestic and foreign brews and booze. Give Prasad a shout if you see him. Solid man.β

βThis place is awesome! They have an incense bar and it is by far the best incense I have ever gotten! They have a cinnamon type that literally will make your entire house smell fantastic! The prices are good and the staff is super friendly as well.β

βThey come through super clutch every time I've ever used them. I recently started using puffco products, and my atomizer broke. I knew they sold puffco rigs, but did not think they had all the accessories you need as well, and they were fully stocked!! I thought for sure it would have been more money to buy the puffco there than ordering online, but I highly regret not using them as they offer the same price as puffco and stand by their products! As a local, this is hugee!! Instead of waiting until the wknd to use my peak again, it's back in action better than ever with a new atomizer and dish at the best price possible. They have a wide selection of all e rigs and lots of other cool stuff! Best in the Roxborough/ manayunk area! βT, or Mr. Puff, was very helpful during my visit to the store. I was looking for TCHA/THCP/D8 products. T guided me to try a new brand, GRDNT. Wow! The flavors are awesome ?? and I love how discreet the packaging is, and the puff of smoke is. It dissipates so quickly, but smells just like a regular vape pen. ?β

βGreat experience. I don't smoke but I was with a friend and we listened to music and had a few drinks since its byob. Atmosphere was nice. They even have hookah on some nights. I have to go back for a Whiskey Saturday, I heard it's a good time. I would recommend this Cigar lounge to everyone.β
βAfter being let down for the second time trying to see what the hype is over cheesesteaks in Philly, I ran across this cigar lounge where I met Ralph. He and the other guys who seemed to be regulars were extremely hospitable. After I purchased my cigars, I decided to sit down and lounge with them. I was offered a beer and we sat and talked for, at least, an hour while it rained cats and dogs outside. If I'm ever in the area, again, I have to stop through and pay Ralph a visit. For a place known for "brotherly love", this shop was the only place I can say I got that feeling. Awesome selection with a modest and intimate atmosphere.β
βI go here to purchase cigarettes by the carton for my grandmother. I appreciate that I can always expect the same service when I go. Keep it sweet short and simple!I only found out about the second location the same day it closed down (go figure) but this location is convenient enough. A different location outside of the city with better parking wouldn't hurt though!β
