Pat is trustworthy, reliable and knowledgeable. My dad was the initial point of contact for my car, and after Pat diagnosed the issue he offered to speak with me individually to better explain what was going on. Pat laid out everything in clear, easy to understand language and was very transparent about the costs upfront.

MOST HONEST, HELPFUL, CARING service. Someone had told me that my transmission was going bad. I called Pat’s transmission and his wonderful wife. Mary Jane answered the phone who was so delightful. Pat evaluated my car thoroughly. It turned out that my transmission is OK. It was my electrical system that needs to be fixed, Pat spent a good deal of time making sure he got to the root of the problem. Pat and Mary Jeanne are a wonderful team and I am so grateful that I came here. If you use their service, absolutely grateful that you did. They are a wonderful team and amazing.!!!

Dealers didn't even want to touch this thing! My car had 90k on original transmission fluid. People often experience slippage and valve body issues after a transmission service at such a point. Pats Transmissions swapped fluids with such in mind, and I have no issues at all!

Great, shop, I would definitely recommend them to anyone, honest, professional and definitely will educate you on the process, good experience.. my transmission went bad. They worked with my extended warranty company / car was ready in under a week/ no complaints at all/

Pat is very knowledgeable and his prices are fair; especially compared to other national chains in the area (I won't say any nAAmes...) His initial diagnosis is hundreds less than not-said chAAin and when thAAt compAAny tried to convince me that I need to replAAce my trAAnsmission, it turned out that I really just needed brakes and my transmission was fine. Once my brakes were done, my 230k-mile car passed inspection with no problems. Thank you, Pat for saving me thousands and actually determining what was really wrong with my car! Honest mechanics do exist and I found one in Pat!

Being an Uber driver, I put a lot of mileage on my car, (50,000 to 60,000 per year)...when my trans went bad almost 3 years ago around 120,000 miles I contacted Pat's and they set me up with a working remanufactured transmission that I purchased with a 3 year/unlimited mileage warranty...after that one went bad around 100,000 miles later he replaced it for free with another one, then another 100,000 or so and almost 3 years later with 315,000 miles on the car he replaced that one for free again. They do great work and they are very honest and keep good communication over the course of the job. Highly recommended.

Pat is amazing! He takes the time to break everything down and explain it to someone like me that doesn’t know anything about this type of stuff when it comes to cars. He saved me thousands of dollars on a repair that I don’t necessarily need that was recommended at the dealership. I’m really glad that I pulled it from there to take it to him for a 2nd opinion. He not only went over a concern I had with the transmission, but another issue as well. He is thorough and even though he’s busy takes the time and patience to really talk to his customers. I would recommend anyone go here when it comes to your transmission.

This guy was informative and honest as the day is long. I live 2 hours away from my daughter in Philly. She called me up with what sounded like a transmission problem. Someone had recommended Pat and Im greatful they did. Turns out it was a $600 issue that had nothing to do with the transmission. Pat could have easily duped me into a couple thousand dollar repair but didn't. Pat has a new customer for life!
