“Had an overall good meal at the new Dizengoff, with super friendly and attentive service at the bar. The brown butter hummus was heavenly, and there simply is no better pita (here and at Solomonov’s other spots). The lamb shawarma platter was tasty but I definitely prefer the lamb from Merkaz (RIP) and Zahav. This lamb was not nearly as tender or flavorful as those and had long strips of fat throughout. The pita, rice, and vegetable salad were all delicious. I will definitely be back soon to try the schnitzel.”

“I stopped by on Friday afternoon for a beer and a snack. because it was a little chilly outside, I opted for the French Onion Soup. I've been ordering French Onion Soup for 50 years and nowadays most places throw a little cheese on that looks like it's floating in the broth. I normally ask them to brown the cheese well but i forgot this time. Much to my surprise, what came out had lots of gooey cheese baked onto the outside of the bowl. It took me a while just to pick it all off. It was also well browned. Although the broth could use a little more flavor, it was the best French Onion Soup I had had in a while. The beer was pretty good too. The server gave me several tastes before I decided which one to get. All in all a nice experience.”

“Truly one of the best restaurants in Philadelphia. I usually do not like to spend real money on food in this city as it is not typically as good as neighboring metropolitan areas, however this is an outlier.We shared everything. They started the service off with a small butternut squash soup with a mini bread biscuit, this was outstanding. Brussel sprouts were incredible with great texture and uniform chili coating. The fettuccine mushroom bolognese was delicious. We opted for both fish dishes that night, which were wonderful. Ended on a dark chocolate brownie with milk chocolate ice cream.All together a great dining experience, would recommend.”
