Very expensive clothes for not that good quality and poor customer service. It says on their sport jackets spring to summer and they are shiny color for summer, but they were made of wool that is too too hot for summer. Well if you use wool for summer, what are you using for winter!?
Also they charge $10 for returns, which sounds like a punishment for a return not exchanging. I spoketo a customer service manager, Sindy who refused to wave the charge. They are not aware of the compensation around them. They don’t want to listen.
Never again order anything from this company.

Paul Fredrick is my go-to brand for shirts, and for good reason. Their shirts are of excellent quality, offering a combination of durability, comfort, and style that sets them apart as best in class. One of the standout features is their consistent fit. Regardless of the style or fabric, I can always count on Paul Fredrick shirts to fit as expected, which is a huge plus in today's market where sizing can often be inconsistent.
While the shirts are indeed pricey, they are worth every penny, especially when caught on sale. The value for money during these promotions is exceptional, making it an ideal time to stock up on these high-quality garments.
However, my experience with Paul Fredrick's customer service has been mixed. Most agents are very matter-of-fact, often sticking rigidly to the script and lacking the empathy one might hope for. This can make interactions feel a bit impersonal and transactional.
That said, my primary interest lies in their shirts. I’ve found that the value of their other items doesn't quite match up to that of their shirts, so I tend to stick with what I feel they do best.

I have enjoyed shirts and jackets from here for years, so I decided to try a pair of pants. I knew that if I had them altered they were not returnable, but I expected to receive what I ordered. I ordered 32" waist which is what I have worn for decades. They didn't come close to fastening. When I reached out to Customer Service I was told that sizes vary. I gave them to my friend who is 30" waist and they won't even fasten on him. THEY SENT THE WRONG SIZE. Even though it is their mistake, because they were tailored - NO REFUND NOR EXCHANGE. Customer Service was very unhelpful. DON'T ORDER PANTS FROM THIS PLACE - IT'S A SHIRT COMPANY. My mistake,...but I won't make it again.

This was the absolute worst customer experience I have ever had. I reached out to Michelle in a professional manner and she was less than helpful and frankly extremely rude. I called and emailed to resolve an issue with an order and I was told that I gave her the wrong order number because “there weren’t enough characters” in the order despite reading her the email word for word including the order number verbatim from the email that the company she works for sent me. Frankly this is going to be the first and last time I purchase anything from this website. In my experience the more valuable brands tend to have amazing customer service. The horrible customer service I believe is a direct representation of the quality of company, and I received the worst customer service I have ever had in my life.

These negative reviews are very disturbing, as I was a faithful Paul Frederick customer for the better part of 3 decades. For many years, PF represented quality, stylish clothes and accessories at very resonable prices, excellent customer service and the best clearance sales around.
PF is NOT that company any more. Their current pricing is exorbitant, sizing is way off and the quality is shoddy. Customer service is terrible, and PF's responses to these on line reviews are extremely argumentative and dismissive. Many of these reviews mirror my most recent experiences with PF.
I'm done doing business with them, as I don't need the stress and frustration. Avoid PF!

This is a terrible company to deal with if you have a return or receive a gift and want to return it. I would never chance buying from them again. My bother in Pittsburgh sent both myself and another brother gifts.
Both experiences were totally subpar. My brother who received a gift tried to pick out another sweater. But they sent his choice to me. He asked to send another, but they said they ran out of the style and couldn’t.
I selected another sweater and returned the one they sent me. I waited for my new selection to arrive and it never did. When I called to find out the problem, they said they ran out of the style, but NEVER let me know. I would never have found out if I hadn’t called them. Rather than let me know so I could pick something else out, they credited his account for the amount of the purchase and left me hanging.
This company may do fine when everything works as scheduled. But if they have a stock out or another problem - BEWARE. Two orders out of 2 screwed up. I’m starting to draw a straight line. When I talked to customer service, all the people were very nice. But their systems are terrible. There are lots of great places to by shirts, sweaters and accessories. For peace of mind, I’d suggest using one of the others.
The company responded to me and said I did not ask for an exchange. This is incorrect and part of their systems problem. I did fill out the exchange form, but they don’t have their systems well enough organized to know that I did. As I mentioned, nice people on the phone, but a disorganized company. Just look at all the people giving it poor ratings!!

I have purchased at least a dozen wrinkle-free shirts from them over the past few years. The patterns are great, and most but not all come out of the dryer looking pretty good. My big complaint is collar wear. After a relatively short amount of time, little holes start to appear. I've had much better luck with Jos Banks, Brooks Bros, LL Bean, and Lands End.

I like their merchandise but I just had a poor experience. I ordered a vest but it was too large. I returned it for a smaller size. In the two weeks that it took them to process the exchange they sold out of my size. Net result is no vest and now I am out almost $15 for shipping. No one seemed to care that it was their poor operations with processing an exchange that caused the real issue. I am done with them and their poor service.*************** Update***************Company just responded below. That response does not address the two weeks that it took to process the review and they claim that they had no way of knowing that I wanted an exchange. I will they are trying to be honest be the fact is that I stated in the return that I would like to try a medium. This was ignored. Maybe I should have done this differently. I am new to this. I buy stuff. I don’t return stuff like professionals.Maybe they will respond and offer some way to make this right. Based on the implied attitude in the response, I doubt it. I hope they do. They have historically provided me quality products in the past.I have provided an opportunity. Will they work for a win/win or ignore this response?

Horrible customer service I’ve been buying shirts from Paul Frederick for the past 15 years my last purchase a few months ago one of the shirts ripped on the sleeve and the stomach area. When I asked them to replace the shirt they wanted to charge me the difference while only giving me a $20 prorate on the shirt… and I would have to come up with $62 to get a replacement shirt. The quality of the shirts have gone down and they would like to blame it on my dry cleaning service which I’ve used for the past 15 years. In fact, I continue to use Paul Frederick Shirts over the past five years with not a single problem, bad customer service I would never deal with them again be wary of them. Pretty disgusting of such a large company and I’ve been such a loyal customer to be treated this way I would not buy another shirt from them as it appears that they quality certainly has gone down over the years. I wouldn’t even give them one star… after looking at other reviews, I see I’m not alone. In fact, a ton of negative comments and reviews are made about their return policy, guaranteed fit etc They certainly do not live up to any of those standards.

First of all, the co promises fit guaranteed, but does not deliver the promise. Their dress shirts are fitting the shoulders, and neck but are baggy around the waist due to a bad cut template. I ordered four of them in which one was slim fit, and I have had the same problem doesn't fit as it should.In addition, the materials are promised to be 100% cotton but all four shirts were inferior, most likely polyester for a high amount each item. Customer service is Not helpful, very argumentative, with returns pushing a return fee. Probably because they receive a lot of them back.My impression is that they use a cheap manufacturer, probably China, and charge thirty times more back to US.

I have never had an issue with this brand. I have a large neck and the slim fit 18.5 inch shirts fit perfect. I've had to return a few as I ordered duplicates. Easy returns. Sometimes takes about 10 days to get back to the factory. All in all a great experience.

Absolutely the worst return policy—they will not return pants that have been altered, which in my case meant that I selected one of the standard hems they offered. What’s worse is that won’t even return my pants with an explanation (they’ve had them for over a month). They basically stole $200 from me. I hope that they go out of business and rot in hell.

The customer service at this company is awful. They do not honor what they advertise. They offer free shipping on "all orders besides clearance" then at the last second as the sale is about to go through they say we had to change the shipping method and charge the shipping. Customer service was absolutely unreasonable and rude. I would stay away from this company.
