Doug and his staff are top notch! Doug is working to expand into scale modeling as well, and the weathering and airbrush seminars he has held were great! His selection of Tank and aircraft models is getting impressive as well!There arent many 'local' hobby shops around anymore, and Joe's is working to fill that spot in the Hatboro/Warminster area!

I went in search of H.O. scale plastic models ( mostly of commercial bldgs,& businesses) I prefer to build the models from scratch and I found a few spectacular deals+ I found a few kits unboxed that were discounted. I also like to change up the designs of the kits combining 2,3 or 4 kits into my own creations - for instance taking a 2 story hardware store+ a factory+ a 3 story apt. Complex & creating a skyscraper or a sports complex -- I met Dwayne & he was v, helpful - The store had everything a model train enthusiast would ever need -- there will be a few more trips down to purchase the items that I didn't get today -- I just wish they had more in the way of slot car /semi trucks but I understand they're focusing on trains anyway it was worth the long trip to support hobby shops like this + I'll be back!!

Drive 2 hours to visit on a Friday afternoon. Web site said open until 6pm. Got there, and a paper sign in the door said "closed... went to a show in York PA"! If you're gonna have a Web site, update it!

I feel fortunate to live relatively close to a place like this one. Too often, I hear online of fellow model railroad enthusiasts who live too far from the "LHS" (the local hobby shop). Sure, there are websites that will ship you things you need, but what's lacking is what this place provides - human interaction, advice, and a a community resource that can be depended on.I was recently in to get a small part for a very not-valuable old streetcar, but I left having had a great conversation about all sorts of things and with a few more items I didn't expect to find. I'll definitely be going back.

This is a special place.It's like walking into an excellent time capsule filled with great, knowledgeable people. The owners are well versed, experienced and kind. I brought my three-year-old along with me. It was like the kid landed in a movie. He was nothing but smiles the entire time we were there. This shop has not only repaired 2 of my Dad's old 1950's Lionel's, but also has become my go-to spot for new O and HO items as my son and I are building our new holiday setups. It's an outstanding place to visit and support.

Great crew & phenomenal service. They traveled to my house to get a train table back up & running, as if it was brand new. Doug & Dwayne were great. I'd strongly recommend working with Joe's Train Station.

I am a newbie train person - wanted to set them up for the grandchildren. Had an old set that they inexpensively repaired. Joe's employees were the best in helping me get started. I saw all the shiny new stuff and they could have sold me anything but advised to just get the set up and running and get other stuff later. Had little idea of what I was doing and I was in there many times, as I could not get things to work and they were always willing to help and give me advice. I cannot speak highly enough of this gem! I'll be back!
