Hank did an absolutely incredible job rebuilding the original starter from my 90s civic with nearly 200k miles. At my request he rebuilt it using premium parts and it shows. I’m not sure the 1.6l ever roared to life with such immediate vigor- all at a fair price. Support a local artisan rather than buy junk from a parts store chain! I plan on bringing him my alternator too when I do my timing belt and water pump next. Thanks again!

I took my van to at least 4 to 5 different shops, No one could figure out my turn signal problem with my van for at least a year. I took my van to Henry's Alternator Exchange and they figured out what the problem was and fixed it and I have had no issues now with the turn signal and I will go back to him for any more problems that I may have. That is without a doubt.

Henry's came recommended from O'Brien's in Southampton. From the first phone call, he explained how he would go about diagnosing my issue and his hourly rate, which was incredibly refreshing coming from a mechanic! My Jeep (I have a 1999 Jeep Cherokee Laredo) went in at first because my turn signals stopped working. It was actually good timing, for once in my life, because a brake light that would go out periodically turned into no lights. Also, my liftgate would lock and stay locked. First, He got my signals working! Then He found the issue with my rear lights. He called me to let me know what the problem was, what the solution was, (it needed a circuit board) and when that part would be in. When Henry looked at the liftgate, he found it needed a new actuator-He let me know how much and when it would come in and when my Jeep would be ready to pick up. This is exactly the shop I have been looking for. Plus, Henry (and Joe) are just really nice guys, and it was a pleasure doing business with them! FIVE STARS!Service: Electrical

From my first phone call, Henry's gave me their hourly rate and explained the process for diagnosing my issue. I've never had a mechanic do that! Maybe I haven't been asking the right questions?! He solved my turn signal problem, then He was able to solve an on-going brake light issue that turned into a no light issue! Finally, Henry fixed an issue that has been plaguing me for years! I have a 1999 Jeep Cherokee Laredo, and my liftgate would lock up. My previous mechanic would get it open, only to last for a month or so at a time, never a permanent fix. Henry got it done, and I am so grateful! His pricing is more than fair! Plus, He fixed my KC HiLights! When I was trying to diagnose my turn signal problem, they had been poorly wired, so I damaged the wiring getting the panels off. I just wish I had known about Henry's when I had to replace my alternator! I know my last mechanic overcharged! But, that's another review. Finally, Henry just seems like a genuinely nice guy! and Joe, as well! I certainly don't want to leave him out! Both gentlemen were a pleasure to do business with! Thank you!
