Said they closed at 5pm. I arrived at 4:50pm. Closed sign was already up, people were in the store but nobody would open the door. And retailers wonder why people are moving to online shopping

Went in looking for a specific product that they DO carry and had a question about an issue I was having. Instead of help from experts they talked poorly about my product choice with no real reason as to why. Offered me an alternate product that I feared would not match the rest of my project. It's a cool shop and has great product selection but when it comes to service... why Bash the one specific thing I'm looking for without being able to add anything constructive to the convo? If it's personal keep than maybe it should be kept internal, if it's a bad product then maybe you should not carry it (they do)The product I purchased worked EXACTLY as I needed and expected it to despite their belief.

I will admit, when I bought that R32 Skyline GT-R Nismo from you guys last week with my dad, you guys had some amazing service! I'm not much of a train guy, but if I had a friend or two who has a huge interest in train models, I'd pick up a few for them.I love the variety of models you guys had though. Now, it was a bit upsetting that most of the kits for us car guys are American cars, but they did have a few car kits that were European. I can completely understand that those kits are from Japan and can only get imported every so often. At some point, I'd definitely get a kit that was something Italian, Swedish, maybe British, such as Koenigsegg, Lamborghini, Mini, Land Rover, Ferrari, Jaguar, etc.Their range of paints is pretty good too, from Testors to Tamiya, little jars of acrylic to spray, it's a great variety.One thing that throws me off though is the pricing. The pricing is on the expensive side a bit, but it's not terrible. It might be a bit more expensive at this place while something could be cheaper at other shops, but I'm not gonna complain about it!Overall, I'll definitely come here again if I need another kit, some more paint, maybe check out some of the diecasts, or just check out the inventory you guys have!

Excellent store! Very clean, staff are more than willing to take things out and show items to you. This store also offers a personal touch, Which really makes all the difference. Will definitely be coming back. I brought home a beautiful Penn Central Caboose and incredible Amtrak Ballast Car!

Same hobby shop and owner that used to be on Sloan Ave in Hamilton Twp., NJ. One of the original brothers (Harvey) still works there and runs the store with another gentleman. Both are extremely knowledgeable, and you get the years of experience that goes with that. If you want a great hobby store that specializes in trains, planes, and automobiles, then Z & Z is the place to go ! Hands down. If they don't have it, they'll get it. Nice to see that places like this are still thriving among the big box "hobby stores" that claim to be hobby stores.

I have to admit, they know there stuff. I went in for paints and background settings and they help me with everything I needed to know about doing the project at hand. Not many stores like this anymore. Now prices may be a little high sometimes but if you are smart and spend within reason it won’t hurt to bad.

The last time I was there was during the pandemic just wanted to get paint for a train I had just for touch up they were very ignorant and didn't want to deal with me , told me to wear a mask then another couple came in and they told they didn't, it was in 2021 at the end of it but was very disrespectful towards a customer, was so happy to find a hobby shop since the 60s and was basically turned away, every time I ride by that place I think of that.

I don't understand why I see negative reviews. I just left there, the owner who helped me out tremendously helpful. I just got into a new hobby. He answer all my questions. He suggested what to get. I will recommend to anyone. And I will be back when I need anything. Thank You for your help!!
