Not happy with Banfield Fairless Hills location. I never saw a vet for any appointments, only technicians. Took my dog to another vet to have her checked out. She has 5 baby teeth that need to be removed . She is 2 years old & this should have been addressed a year ago. Banfield neglected to inform me about her teeth. Now I’m wondering what else they missed. I have doubts now that she was even examined by a vet.Don’t buy into their well program. Save your money and go to reputable vet for quality care for your pets !!

I question the quality, common sense and compassion of this practice. My dog is 17 years old and is barely able to walk or stand. She was just examined by Dr. Rossi on 12/22/23. It was obvious at that time that she is very frail and that her days are numbered. I called on Wednesday (2/28/24) because my dog has been suffering with diarrhea for about a week and the over-the-counter product was not working. I was told the Dr. only works a few days a week and I would have to wait until Friday when he comes in. I called on Friday to remind them that I was waiting for a call back from the Dr. The front desk person pulled up my file it did not appear to know anything about it. So, I explained the situation again and stressed how important it was because if the Dr. left without address my concern, I would have to wait about 5 days for him to get back to the office. After all this, I get a call back from the front desk person stating that Dr. Rossi said that since he had not ever prescribed an anti-diarrhea medicine for my dog previously (Even though he did a thorough in person physical evaluation of my dog just 70 days ago), I would need to schedule an appointment for the following week and I would need to drop my dog off and leave her there until she could be examined. I don’t think my dog would even survive that ordeal. What could possibly be ascertained by that? Not to mention the ill effect of that delay. How complex is prescribing a common anti-diarrhea medicine for a dog in her final days that you just examined? As I said in the beginning, no common sense and absolutely NO COMPASSION!

Front desk rarely has someone there. Expect to wait. They can not do anything with your plan. Banfield continued billing me after my dog passed away and they handed me his remains. "Nothing we can do" is all they could say. Customer service is a nightmare.

I didnt care for this place at all. When they talk to you it's all in one tone and most of the time they cant hold eye contact,it just didnt feel right. I wouldn't recommend this place.

I have been taking my dog here since he was 8 weeks old. From the front desk to the vets and vet techs, they are all so knowledgeable and professional!!! They treat my babe so well. Their puppy and adult health insurance plans are so reasonably priced and include so much including full coverage of shots, discounts on medications, and full or partial coverage on procedures!

Katie is absolutely amazing. She cared for my baby boy mischief for his teeth cleaning. I was ugly crying dropping him off and she really helped put my mind at ease and spoke to me for a bit when I came to check on him a few hours later and let me know he was waking up and doing well. She's the best!

The staff see more than a dollar sign. They take an actual interest in your pet. Melissa was very helpful and went beyond my expectations. She treated my cat like she was her own. Very busy but overall happy and will recommend Banfield Pet Hospital to anyone looking for a great vet.

Everyone was kind and courteous . Cost of the wellness plan is too much for the average person these days. I understand that it's a corporate thing. Weighing the cost of average visits v.s. the monthly amount to have a plan is really high. Great care...high cost.

3 vet visits to diagnose my dog with a UTI!!!! After repeatedly telling them I knew she had one!!! Poor dog was suffering for months!! It was only when I paid an extra 80 dollars because it wasn’t covered under my wellness plan she got the correct diagnosis! I would have paid it 2 visits agp! Very dissatisfied with the care

My car loves the people here. Both offices in NJ and PA. They are very knowledgeable and great with the pet patients. Recommend

I’ve had a Wellness plan for my pet for the last 8 years and I’ve never been treated as poorly as I was at this location. My dog has an issue with one of his nails and usually I’d call my local Banfield and they’d tell me to drop him off or give me a time to pop in, just to make sure my pet wasn’t suffering needlessly. The girl who answered the phone yesterday was so flippant and when she couldn’t find him a scheduled appointment (wasn’t what I was asking for) she was like “can you try other locations?” I explained that I’m 2 weeks away from having a baby, I can’t be driving all over the area to get him in, and then her response was “oh ok. We really don’t have any appointments for him, sorry” and basically hung up in my face! Im so disappointed in this service, I pay monthly to make sure I can take my dog in as needed for any little issues that arise, and I’ve never had these kinds of issues before. I’ll definitely be rethinking renewing my plan if this is the most convenient location because their customer service and willingness to try and fit a sick pet in definitely need some work.

My 9 year old pup needed to see a vet after waking up hunched over in pain. This was the only Banfield in around a 20mile radius willing to see him same day. Come to find out pup is just an old man that needed some help with his stiff joints in the morning. I really enjoyed talking to the Veterinarian about my pup and his treatment options. Very caring staff all around. I think Banfield gets hammered by difficult customers and I'm sorry that they have to put up with it. For all those here keep up the good work! And thank you for treating my baby as family.
