The staff here is incredibly friendly, and you can tell how much they love and care for animals. Mt cat went missing and we stopped in just to let them know, they took my info and even made a post on their business account to help look for her. They called me with updates, and even asked for an update, I'm very thankful for their kindness.

Last week (Saturday) I had my family reunion in Syracuse NY. I had my oldest son come over to stay with my dog Cocoa and my cat puppycat. Well he decided to make an appointment for Cocoa for Monday knowing I would be back home. But he forgot to give me this information and when I got a call at 10 minutes after 10 telling me I was late for Cocoa's appointment (which was for 10 am) I told them I didnt make an appointment maybe my son did . Well I was told that he indeed did make the appointment. Since I live 5-10 minutes from Puppy Love I said I am on my way. I call my son he told me awwww mom I forgot to tell you. I told him I would meet him there(since he was paying) I call them back to say I am out the door but the call goes to their answering machine . I put the dog in the car and off we go. When I got there I was told that I would be charged a late fee. I said ok how much? Now as we are talking I look over the counter and I see 1 person grooming a dog. The door to the back room is closed where they keep the dogs before and after appointments so I cant say if there were any back there. But there was another tech in the room behind the counter doing nothing. Well I was told the late fee is $1.00 per minute ! So I look at the clock and say what is the charge ? She says $20.00 for the late fee plus the $70.00 for the service ! Well I let her know that I had no knowledge of this appointment can she wave the fee? She said no......Huh? I said well how about you take off the fee and I just give you a tip? again no. So I called my son and he said well we will go somewhere else. So I said just cancel the appointment she said well you have to pay half of the $90.00 I say for what ? You did nothing for me . On their website it says cancelled appoints is $25 to half of the price of the service. So she was going to just charge me the maximum amount ! This wasnt the first time I had used them .I thought they were great till now. And nowhere on their site does it say $1.00 PER MINUTE late FEE. Maybe she just didnt want my business or maybe its because I am african american . She tried to give me what my husband calls (The Black Mans Special)

Update on your response:A. Although I don't think anyone checks Facebook right now, please feel free to do so if you want. Please emphasize you only spent one and half hour on this full grooming for a doodle, you shaved him and no bandana provided this time. I should've known all these signs are big red flag to your negligence. No professional haircut provided at all. Oh, please attach the picture of before and after. Hopefully someone might like this shaved haircut although it's not what we requested. B. I do have different names on Google and yelp. But I don't know why you emphasize it. It does not affect the fact that I am real man and I am an old customer of your place. Do you need my id card Gregg?? Again, like I explained on Google, we have two accounts! The last time we did haircut at your place is under my name- it's the end of August. We scheduled this one in November but we can't get in until December because of lack of available spots. I guess you don't even read these complaints but just objecting it.C. You are emphasizing matt again Krista or should I say Gregg? Did he get matt everywhere? Or you just did not spend enough time or attention doing his haircut? Even though you shaved, you should shave him more tidy not like this! He looks like a naked turkey. Matt is not a excuse for poor service. Plus, the truth is his face was fluffy and not matted at all. Please stop lying. The last time we went in August, you did exactly what we requested- a round face!! I guess my dog was not matt during that time huh?? It's 100% your excuse for lazy work this time.You're not even listening to my comments. Maybe it's just like you were not listening to your customer's request as usual. I don't want any arguments anymore. I did leave real comments on different platform. But that doesn't mean I am wrong. This means I trusted you but I feel heartbroken this time. Krista did what she wants NOT what dog owner want. And you are still trying to cover it and blame on us. If your dog loves this haircut, please feel free to take them there. But if you want a groomer listening to your request, don't go there.

Very small and unassuming, but feels very personal. My dog is very nervous with baths and i have been unable to wash him on my own, decided to turn to the professionals and they did not disappoint! Artie has been itching, scratching, and licking for days and we have seen a noticeable difference since we took him to get a medicated bath last night. he came back fluffy, smelling great, and smooth! Thanks Puppy Love! we will be back, and hopefully with more visits he will become more comfortable with the bathing experience.

Love this group of hoomans. They clip our mad shibas nails and are kind as heck every time even though she quite literally screams at them. She's beyond dramatic. We have a new corgi and will definitely be taking him in to get groomed. They are great at what they do AND welcoming and lovely. We love you Puppy Love!

Absolutely wonderful grooming service and staff. Everyone was so kind and patient. They did such a great job with our double doodle onyx. After couple bad experiences, it had become such a battle to get onyx to a groomer. So glad to have finally found a groomer that I will be going back to! Thank you puppy love grooming!

Ive been taking my two dogs here for several years, since just after they opened and it's the only groomer Id recommend. Their place is clean, cute, safe, and feels intimate which I like. They always spend so much time with each of my dogs, and you can tell they truly love animals and care about the quality if their work. When one of my dogs had to have surgery, she asked about her when I brought my other dog. She remembered! She took the utmost care when grooming my dog after surgery too! I trust Krista implicitly with my fur babies, and truly like her as do my dogs! (I just moved out of state, and wish I could travel back just to get my dogs groomed by her. People like Krista are rare.)

I was extremely pleased with the way Jen cut Lexi's hair. First time visiting this groomer and walked away extremely happy. I gave Jen some basic instructions and she nailed it. The entire staff was friendly to me and even with several other dogs getting a cut, it wasn't a mad house. Sometimes you walk into a grooming shop and every single dog is going nuts. Lexi was at easy when we walked in.

I am very pleased with my experience at Puppy Love! I live in Mt. Washington so having a place I can trust with my little guy is awesome. This was the first time getting my Sheepadoodle puppy groomed so I was a little nervous with how my shaggy boy would be returned to me. Jen did an amazing job cleaning him up and maintaining his long coat. I am so excited to have a place so close to home that I can trust with my puppy!

Best place to take your pets. Lisa takes very good care of you fur babies. My Rocky and Gizmo were always taken care. Especially when I went on vacation and Rocky, Gizmo and Gio would stay with her. Most caring and friendly person I know.
